"One Lie After Another - Everything That's Wrong With The Ind"
Where to begin... My wife went to Muller initially and spoke with Adam, she explained her price range and what she was looking for. Following a test drive they started crunching numbers, while Adam initially stated that the car she was looking at was within her price range, it was actually over $150 more. No big deal right, she wasted an hour. Fast forward to the final day of the month and Adam is calling her saying we can make something work, confirming the quotes we got from other Honda dealers (significantly less). When we arrive Adam is busy, no big deal we aren't his only prospects. We are passed off to a nice female associate, we chat for a few minutes then she brings in a "manager". I didnt catch his name but he claimed he was married (without a ring, not necessarily uncommon but suspect given the other bs he was trying to feed us), and had a lovely tattoo of a half naked woman on his arm (I say that for identification purposes, not judgement). This manager brought a piece of paper, claiming to believe in honesty and transparency, he showed us an invoice price approximately $3,000 higher than two other Honda dealer and a higher residue value by over 3%. This manager then preceded to elude to my wife not actually going to these other dealerships, that didn't go over well. When reviewing the sheet of numbers this manager showed us I began questioning the discrepancies, what additional fees were being hidden in his price, etc? He either wouldn't or couldn't answer the questions, extremely evasive and pretty rude. Not to mention we were lied to, the whole reason we came back was because they told us that they were within our price range, giant LIE. This experience, at Muller Honda, represents everything that is wrong with the auto industry. We are done with Muller and Honda, thanks for your help guys.
