Reason for Visit: Sales

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Nelson Nissan:
I was charged more than the price listed on the internet, which was also $2000 over blue book. The car has been plagued with issues that should have been addressed prior to their putting it on the lot...engine, transmission, battery, starter, rust...you name it. Standing on the premise of their good "Christian Business Values" is a disgrace. I got a horrible deal on a car that is not reliable. The sales department is completely unhelpful and rude, including the managerial staff. Do not look for your problems to be solved or for anyone to be sympathetic. I am now stuck with a car that does not meet the expectations set by Nelson or promised on the day of sale. Please, think twice, you can find a better deal elsewhere with a company who stands behind every car they sell.

My Review of Nelson Nissan:
On May 1, i purchased a battery from Nelson Nissan. Two weeks later, the car was not turning over well, so I had the alternator checked out at a different facility. They found that everything was fine except the battery. The battery was bad. I told them that the battery was brand new. I had just bought it 2 weeks prior.

Long story short, Nelson Nissan's service was closed that day (it was after 1:00), so I had to resolve the problem this morning.

The service attendant informed me that the battery (that had acid stains on it and old dates stamped on it), was a new battery. He said that he could not refund the money, but could only replace it with another battery. What would I need with 2 batteries? He argued and argued with me. Then finally decided to give me just the cost of the old battery back. I am writing a letter to Nelson Nissan. The customer service in the Service dept. is horrendous.

Stacey C.
