My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
I just purcahsed my New BMW M5 From there and I have to say that the sales person there Josh McClure was the nicest person I have ever met in my life, three other sales people walked by me lookes like they were going to lunch and Josh walked up to me and asked me if I needed help and he got me the best deal in town I will never by another BMW unless its from Josh thanks.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
I bought my 325i june 13 2003 and six months later the car was makeing horrible noises, than i took it in for service and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I waited two more months and the car still kept making noises and it was getting louder by the minute. Finally i had to take my car in again and i had to leave it there overnight and now im stuck without a car. What sucks is that after i got my car, i convinced my sister in law to buy one to. so she did and four months later, her fuel pump went out, left her stranded and they did not want to give up a loaner. I have not heard the end of it since.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
I had a re-occuring problem with my SRS (airbag) light coming on. I was out of warranty so I was paying for this all out of my pocket. Each time I brought it in, they found a different (and more expensive) part that needed to be replaced. Finally after getting a bit upset at this, I asked to speak with the service manager/general manager. The reply that I got was even better, "My car must have been in a major accident and that's why it kept going off. We will not service your car anymore". So after taking my money on three separate occasions, which never did fix the problem, I ended up going to another dealer and they fixed it the first time.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
After doing my research for many weeks prior to my visit I KNEW I wanted either a new BMW 325i or pre-owned 330i.

Carsdirect.com arranged for me to test drive one of these vehicles at Nick Alexander's. I scheduled my test drive for a friday after work.
When I arrived the internet liason had no idea about my arrival. ...

(I believe that a portion of the profit goes to carsdirect.com if I they refer me. so of course the sales reps would rather attend non-referals. but anyway)

after being bounced around for a while the manager decided to treat me as a new customer. He set me up with a sales rep, George(?).

Well, this guy didn't take me seriously from the start. He thought I had no intention of buying the car, or at least treated me as such. I mentioned to him how I was a recent college graduate (only 22) and landed a badass job... George rushed me in order to get me out and make it to a baseball game he had plans for. I test drove a new titanium-color 325i, which was a huge dissapointment. The car drove nicely, but maybe if I had a longer stretch of land I would have been sold... the test drive consisted of a drive around the block. *sigh*

A few days after this experience I went to McKenna BMW and bought myself a 2001 330i with only 20K miles. I don't recommend McKenna to highly, as they decieved me on many issues, but I am overall pleased with the car I purchased.

man, oh man. If only George would have treated me nicely, and not had discriminated I would have probably driven off with an '04 330i from his lot... oh well,

For those of you considering a 325i, I highly recommend the 330i. It costs a bit more but is more than worth the investment.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:

My experience at this dealership was wondeful!! The Sales Manger, Ruben, and his staff went Above and Beyond to make my buying experience a memorable one. I got a great deal on a 5-series that was incomparable to any other dealership I had been to. Anyone in the market for a BMW would be crazy not to buy from here.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
In general, they charge more than the other BMW dealerships in the area. My radiator cracked and they quoted me close to twice the cost of another dealer. They were high on both parts and labor.

I went in for another problem and was told they would charge $200 just to diagnose the problem (the other dealerships quoted me $100) and the repair (identified by the other dealership) would cost $1,200 (the other dealership quoted me $500).

Unless your car is covered under warranty, avoid getting your car serviced here.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
Alexander was really willing to bargain to get my business. All dealerships are double-talkers and they try every trick in the book, but these guys really were willing to lower their asking price on cars to get you to buy. Other dealers around LA just show you the door when you ask them if they'll accept anything less than whatever inflated value they are asking. I haven't had work done with them yet, so I didn't judge that.

My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
In my experience, Nick Alexander service goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. They are always very polite/friendly and have strived to solve any issues I've had. When I once had to go to the Customer Service Manager for a more urgent issue, they EXCEEDED my expectations and fixed my problem.

They are located in a bad part of town which is one reason why I think they go out of their way to treat you well. It's worth the drive!
