My Review of Nick Alexander Imports:
After doing my research for many weeks prior to my visit I KNEW I wanted either a new BMW 325i or pre-owned 330i.
Carsdirect.com arranged for me to test drive one of these vehicles at Nick Alexander's. I scheduled my test drive for a friday after work.
When I arrived the internet liason had no idea about my arrival. ...
(I believe that a portion of the profit goes to carsdirect.com if I they refer me. so of course the sales reps would rather attend non-referals. but anyway)
after being bounced around for a while the manager decided to treat me as a new customer. He set me up with a sales rep, George(?).
Well, this guy didn't take me seriously from the start. He thought I had no intention of buying the car, or at least treated me as such. I mentioned to him how I was a recent college graduate (only 22) and landed a badass job... George rushed me in order to get me out and make it to a baseball game he had plans for. I test drove a new titanium-color 325i, which was a huge dissapointment. The car drove nicely, but maybe if I had a longer stretch of land I would have been sold... the test drive consisted of a drive around the block. *sigh*
A few days after this experience I went to McKenna BMW and bought myself a 2001 330i with only 20K miles. I don't recommend McKenna to highly, as they decieved me on many issues, but I am overall pleased with the car I purchased.
man, oh man. If only George would have treated me nicely, and not had discriminated I would have probably driven off with an '04 330i from his lot... oh well,
For those of you considering a 325i, I highly recommend the 330i. It costs a bit more but is more than worth the investment.
