My Review of Nissan of Bergenfield:
My wife, myself, and her family were called numerous times to turn our lease in early. We went 3 months early and desided to go back closer to the end of our lease. We ended up going back 1 month to the end of the lease and got a fairly good deal. One of the terms of the deal was to pay the last payment of the previous lease. This was said numerous times during negotiation (or we would have just waited one more month) and was on the paperwork when signed. The car was taken home that day but upon waking the next day we found oil on the driveway. My wife went back to the dealer the next day (alone) and they switched the car, new paperwork, etc. We recieved a call from Nissan asking about the last payment and explained the situation. We figured they may have been crossed in the mail or something. We called Nissan of Bergenfield and was told it will be taken care of. Two months later we get a call from the collections department. We pay the last payment plus the late fee and after 10 trips to the dealership still have not recieved anything back. We have purchased 5 cars through them within the last 6 years and we end our relationship like this. They claim it is no where for the GM to see it is supposed to be paid but the salesman confirms it was there on the original deal and said it should have been paid. Someone screwed up there... whether intentional or not there was lying and deception. I would not recommend. Will be filing paperwork with consumer affairs and bbb. Even got all conversation on video. Contact me if you need any more information or people to not deal with there. There are also other stories I have heard about taking advantage of people including a young college student who is paying over 500 a month on a lease for an altima!

I would NEVER, EVER, EVER recommend this dealership, run as far away as you can! We put a deposit down on a car only to find out that the sold it the next day! when we went back to figure out what happened, the sales manager says to us that my husband was lying about working (which is why we couldn't come the night before) and that we were "shopping his numbers". When my husband asked what we can do about the deal now and how they should honor it, his reply was "I don't have to honor anything" - so freaking unbelievable that I'm going to run this up the dealership/corporate flagpole - anyone that is willing to listen!

Worst ever dealership encountered. Never buy any kind car from them. They never keep their promise. Problem is not with lower staff but even senior staffs are extremely rude. Over pricing cars, worst after sell service. Must avoid. Don't go by some factious nice talk they put forward. Better check everything thoroughly. They can break promise or back out from promised deal anytime. Moreover why buy your dream vehicle from somewhere who will make ur life miserable.

Very bad service. Tried to over sell the car, lied of many things. when i found out which was quite easy they turned their color and started insulting me. Not sure, how come if any one can have good experience with them. May be they are racial rednecks or just bunch of looser.

I've been buying my cars from this dealership for over 8 years... they were Fisher Nissan for a long time, and this was my first time dealing with the new management. I was not disappointed... this store has always been a great place to buy a car. David was particularly helpful.

My Review of Nissan of Bergenfield:
To say a dealership is "a good experience" is usually just saying they're the lesser of the evils, but I must say Nissan of bergenfield was a welcome change from the usual car buying runaround. My only issue was that it took some time to really get the price down to where I wanted to be, but that's nothing compared to my experience with the Hackensack Nissan dealer who yessed me to death on the phone about the price I wanted, and then tried to push me into a used car without even acknowledging the fact that I was leasing for a business.
In comparing both of these dealers, I realized there was no point in trying to get the "best price" over the phone, because the dishonest dealers like Hackensack Nissan will just tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to come to their store, and the honest dealers like Nissan of bergenfield won't give bottom-line pricing over the phone because they're afraid the dishonest guys will undercut them with a fake lower price to steal the customer. So much for buying a car through the internet...

I hadn't heard of Nissan of bergenfield until I went online and got a price quote, where several dealers responded to me and they were one of them. Strangely enough, they were the only ones who responded quickly, and they walked me through some of the more confusing information about the Nissan Murano options and packages.
When I went to the store, the salesperson and receptionist both greeted me and we all chatted for a few minutes before even mentioning prices and test drives... can you believe that from a car dealership? I was really surprised at their friendliness and honesty. I bought the car that day, and I'm glad I found out about that store! Funny thing is that the two other Nissan dealers i already knew about STILL haven't responded to my inquiry... not sure what that's all about, but it was nice to see that at least one dealership out there is on the ball.

WOW! I couldn't believe the kind, courteous, upfront honesty I received from a dealership! My car broke down on a late Friday afternoon and my car had to get towed to Nisssan of Bergenfield. Instead of making me wait until Monday, they got right on the job! The service writer Ray and the kind manager Tom, were there to help me (plus the mechanic who stayed late to fix my car). I will not go anywhere else from this point on. The price was reasonable and they really made me feel like they cared about me and my problem! When observing the other customers, they were just as kind and courteous towards them too, needless to say, it was a pleasant atmosphere without a doubt. If I was to break down again, no matter how far away I was, I would want to bring it back to NISSAN OF BERGENFIELD! Ray C and Tom D Rock!!! The parts guy, Tom, stayed late to make sure the right part got there on time! I have never been to a service and a parts place that cared about my problem and not just about the money! Thanks again, Ray C, Tom D and Tom in Parts!! Keep it up!!!
