My wife and I went to this dealership to buy a new Toyota Sienna. It was the worst car buying experience I have every had! They are very slimy and they pull all the old car salesman tricks that are made fun of in the movies. This dealership used to be good, but has turned into something really bad. I sent the owner an email about this and he never bothered to respond. Do not do business with this dealership! Go to Acton Toyota or Westboro Toyota

My Review of Norm Wagner Toyota Scion:
(STAY AWAY FROM NORM WAGNER) Went to Norm Wagner's in Lunenberg with my step-daughter looking to compare prices for small SUV's. We had just finished test driving and comparing prices on different 2005 and 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe's and Tucson. The Hyundai salesman never asked what price we wanted to spend or whether we were looking to finance or what monthly payment we could afford.

On the lot of Norm Wagner, we saw a 2006 Toyota Rav5 that had 10,000 more miles than the Santa Fe we just test drove. There was no price listed for the RAV5 but I assumed it would be in the price range of the Hyundai given the high mileage. We went into the building to see if we could test drive the vehicle. A short, possibly Spanish man with a buzz cut brought the car around and went with us for a test drive. When we entered the vehicle the cigarette smell was extreme. We knew we did not want this particular car. It also dirty and not well kept. While test driving I asked the salesman what the price of the vehicle was. He said he didn't know but asked what price were we looking to spend. I told him a price of under 15k. The 05/06 Hyundai's ran between 11k and 14k. When we got back to the dealership as we exited the SUV he asked what monthly payments could we afford and other questions about financing? We had not spent 15 minutes with this guy and already I am getting old school, hard sell, deceptive used car salesmen tactics I thought were part of days long gone by. Let me know what this car is listed at. I just want to compare prices. We go inside and sit down. He puts down a piece of paper and starts asking my daughter information, about traded in value and what she can afford. He leaves to see if he can find some domestic vehicles in our price range. He comes back a few minutes later, says he can't. But we finally we get a price on the Rav5 it is over 16k. No quote just a verbal price, which he jots down on the piece of paper. During this time I am getting more disillusioned and exasperated as he talks about selling us a new car around $18k. He could get us better this and that. Writing down different monthly payments. After he is through with his negotiation meant to inveigle us into buying a new car. We say no thank you and leave. Although I was only at the dealership including a test drive down the street for less than a 1/2 hour I feel compelled to write and let people know to stay away from this dealership at all cost.

We then drove by a Jeep dealership in the area. We saw a 2005 Jeep we liked. I went into the building and asked a man at the front desk, what the price of the 2005 jeep was. I pointed to it. He pulled out a piece of paper, ran his finger down a list, found the car and told me the price. I said thank you and left.

All I can say is this. I have no relation to any of these dealerships. But based on what happened to me I will never, ever buy a vehicle from Norm Wagner or any dealership he is associated with.

Stay away !! Was looking for new Camry LE. Asked for for MSRP, he said I could look it up on the internet, but then provided an inaccurate value after some prodding. Asked for a price quote and when he started to quote from the [Wrong] MSRP less $1500 Toyota Factory Discount, I asked for his best and final price [to save both he and us time from a "pricing dance"] he said they don't do that and wanted to start the haggling process. When I thanked him and started to the door, another salesman directed him to get a quote from the boss. He came back with a price $5 below the range that I said we'd seen elsewhere. He still wanted to nail our shoes to the floor and sign us up immediately. Not professional, didn't trust him --- THEN I saw the bad reviews here, and could FULLY believe them. Run don't walk from this place while you can, better yet don't darken their door step !!

DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALER.His sales staff consists of lazy scam artists who are experts in bull shitting,lying,and high pressure sales tactics to get you to sign before you even drive the car.Norm Wagner is the most arrogant, rude, condescending person on the planet. It was not until after I finished my deal that I read these reviews and I wish I had done it sooner.The car was not delivered to me when it was supposed to be so I told him I wanted to cancel the deal. After lots of screaming and yelling on my part and outright lying on their part, I was told if I did not accept the car, they would have it repo'd, even though I had not yet taken possession.Long story short, I ended up taking the car. I have heard and read nothing but horror stories about this dealership and I believe every one of them. I will do all my service work with Acton Toyota,and never set foot in Wagner Toyota again. I strongly urge anyone reading this who is looking for a Toyota, do not even go to Wagner for a quote or test drive.It will turn into a nightmare, just like it did for me.I am amazed that this dealership is still in business, and Toyota has not gotten enough complaints to stop any dealings with him.Look at the ratings for Wagner and Acton, the answer is clear. STAY AWAY FROM WAGNER TOYOTA!!!!

My Review of Norm Wagner Toyota Scion:
Went to Wagner Toyota having already research the model and pricing we were after. My role was to assist my college graduate daughter in the process of purchasing her first car.

We were looking for a 2008 Yaris. After a no-pressure test drive of several models, we identified a particular car and sat down to get the best Wagner set of numbers. After some back and forth we finally had a set of numbers. Total time around 1.5 hours. At this point we decided to let the dealer "squirm" a bit, and headed out to lunch.

We had a bite to eat and used the time to research the MSRP and Invoice numbers. This particular Yaris had an MSRP of $14,610 with an Invoice Price of $13,666. They had offered us the invoice price. We came back from lunch and offered them $300 less than invoice ($13,360) with a 50% cash down payment and the balance on a 3 year loan. They accepted the offer with little discussion.

Additional to this price was MA Sales tax ($668), Reg/Title Fees ($86), and a Wagner Admin Fee ($299). Basically the $300 below invoice offset the Wagner Admin Fee.

We financed the 50% balance ($7,207) for 3 years @ 5.9% or $219 a month.

Additional time 1.5 hours.

All and all an easy transaction. They delivered the car (with a no-cost inspection sticker) the next morning in mint condition after going over all the features/functions with my daughter.

We would certainly give them the opportunity to earn our business again.

Ok so norm wagner has a horrible reputation. Let me tell you about my story with them. I bought my car about 11 months ago and by the way I got raped. they suckered me into the biggest lie they could...all about pure pricing and this and that, i bought a 2008 brand new scion tc pretty much fully loaded. my car about 5 months later had some issues that needed to be resolved and so I brought it to the dealership i bought the car from...they half-assed fixed my car, and i knew it was not running right...not to mention the 2 and a half week process it was to fix my car... I recently just brought my car back into the service for the same problem because they failed to fix it right the first time, now it is going on another two weeks without my car....everytime i call and check up no one can give me a stright answere, and i always get promises to get calls back and yet i never do, its getting to the point where i am about to try and take some legal actions againgst norm wagner...and by the way it wouldnt be the first time he has been sued for some sketchy stuff. My advice to you guys is to stay away from the nightmare dealership.. I would recomened Acton Toyota for your service and or purchase of a new toyota

I just wanted to say that I bought a brand new Toyota From Roger Hanks at Norm Wagner Toyota last January. It was the best car purchase that I have ever done in my life. Roger knew everything that I needed to know. I am a man who has bought about 15 new cars for me, my wife and my family. I was very impressed on how Roger was the nicest salesman that we have ever met. I usually get the best price by shopping around, but decided to buy on the spot as Roger really was on top of everything. I have never laughed so much. We also had Arian Bane who did the financing who was also great to deal with.

But here is the problem. I went back a few weeks ago and walked in to ask for Roger. My wife was ready tom trade in her car now. The salesman said that Roger was not there. That was it.....He was not there. The salesman said that he would be able to help me though. I asked the salesman if Roger would be in tomorrow and he said that he was on vacation for a week. I was sad and thought that I would check out a few few vehicles with my wife. As I went out to get my wife's registration for her trade, I found Roger's business card in the glove compartment. So I opened my cell phone and gave his cell a call.

I was shocked to find out that Roger had left Norm Wagner's and was not selling cars anymore. He had been hired as a service writer in Lunenburg. He was not on vacation!!!!! We were lied to!!!! Roger said to just go to see Norm, Javier, Raphael or Luke and let them know what just happened. I wrote these name down because I was going to do this. He urged us to still buy a car from Norm Wagner's because they were the best Toyota Dealership around and he had left them under good terms because he wanted to become a service writer and they just did not have an opening at that time. He said that he did not recognize the salesman name, so he might be new.

We did not go back in as I felt that nothing could cover the lie that was told to me. We still have not bought a new car and Roger cared enough to call me back and said that he would set up the Salesman for me if I will just go back to them. I just wanted to say that I think that we will as Roger believes that this new salesman should have just said that he did not know who he was. He also said that this is not how salesman are taught there to sell cars. This is all about trust. It is too bad that I have to learn it with another salesman all over again. If a salesman does not know the right answer, he should have found it out before he opened his mouth!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we fell for the free oil change for life scam at Norm Wagner. When signing all the paperwork for her new car, the free oil change form came up. It was given to my wife and the Salesman said "this is the form for your free oil changes." She signed it - we should have read the find print. The free oil changes are only provided if you purchase a ridiculously over-priced maintenance service every 5,000 miles! False advertising! Misleading! Listen, they had ads all over the place about these free oil changes for life, did anyone know that you had to pay for their complete service to get it? No way, that was never stated, and you only find out when you try to take advantage of the oil change, unless you catch it during the paperwork process. This is a underhanded and deceiving way to get car sales, this dealer cannot be trusted.

My Review of Norm Wagner Toyota Scion:
I went in looking to purchase a new corolla 09 model. Test drove an S model, when I wanted an XRS model (no XRS' were at the dealership at the time and it would have been 3 weeks to get one). Liked the car and decided to talk numbers. First off salesman shows me the brochure of the vehicle and all the available options (mind you I had been doing research for two days and knew of every available option so I told the salesman what I wanted and which options I didn't want as I had no use for them.)The salesman comes back and says, the car only comes one way and that's it there are no options on this model. I said that can't be if you go to Toyota's website they list all available options and inform you of what is specifically available on the XRS as standard equipment. He then goes back to find Raphael who says no, the car is only available one way and they don't do "options" they don't just build one car differently, they all have those options as standard equipment. With all those options the cars cost was a little over $23,000. Way more than I was looking to spend and way more than Toyota's MSRP on their site of a standard XRS of $18K. I decided let's leave it at that for now I might be able to lower the cost later with negotiations. But oh was I wrong!!! I was trading in a vehicle and book value on the car (which is only 2 years old), according to Kelly Blue Book's website started at 9k for good condition. So out comes the salesman with an offer for 7k (when no one ever even looked at the car!!). Appalled at that I said no I want at least 10K the car it has lower than average miles and is in brand new condition with no mechanical flaws and or body damage and has never seen winter. Salesman says no they can't and won't give you that I said, you haven't even moved and you're saying they won't. He decided to move and came back with 7,500 as a today only special! I said, no you have to be kidding me car is worth more than that and if I trade it you will put it on the lot for 16k or more. He says no, but regardless would you take the car?? I said maybe if you lower the cost of the car. He says, you are buying a top of the line XRS with all the options (which are "standard" according to Raphael) we can't lower the cost. So now I'm looking at a car for around 26-27K with interest and my payment will be around $400-500 or more a month FOR A COROLLA! I told the salesman, no thanks if I wanted to pay that much for a car I'd buy a Lexus. Thanks but no thanks. He said, but you aren't going to get a "DEAL" like this anywhere else. I then informed him I had been looking online at other dealerships about the same vehicle and had seen the same car, same options for 19K-21K and that I would definitely be going elsewhere.

My Review of Norm Wagner Toyota Scion:
Please do not fall for the "Free Oil Change for Life" program offered by this dealership. The fine print states that the oil change is free only if you pay (sometimes a lot of money) for the scheduled maintenace which is conveniently scheduled every 5000 miles. If you choose not to do (pay) the service you must pay for the oil change.
