My Review Of Northwest MINI:

After many years of admiring Mini Coopers from a distance, my wife and I visited Northwest Mini for the first time. Motoring Advisor, Mark Sandau, who was very welcoming, greeted us and offered to show us around. Initially, we were considering buying a used Mini, so Mark answered all our questions, gave us a tour of all the models we were interested in, and never attempted to divert our attention to any of the new models. This was a refreshing change from what we have experienced at other dealerships. After looking at the used models, we asked to look at the new models. Again, Mark knew exactly what was in stock, and where each model was located, and patiently answered our many questions. At no time during our visit did we feel pressured to buy, or even take test drive.

My wife knew she wanted a Clubman, and quickly found her favorite color. I however, was torn between two Hardtops: British Racing Green II, and Lightning Blue. We took a test ride in the green Mini, and I fell in love right away with the car, but after much internal debate realized that Lightning Blue version was the one for me; the more I looked at it the more it spoke to me.
With our choices made, Mark returned with an offer for our trade-ins. Once again, he exceeded our expectations by offering a very fair deal on the two cars. In years past we have dealt with dealerships, which confront us with horrible trade-in offers, then the back-and-forth with this manager, or that boss… What a refreshing change! None of that nonsense, just a straight forward good deal benefiting both parties. Then I found out my favorite blue Mini had 400 miles on it already-- my heart sank. Having worked in transportation, I know the importance of the break-in period on a new cars motor. This is where Mark’s professionalism really shined through. While I was… mildly freaking out— having him check other dealerships for another blue Hardtop without 400 miles logged, never once did Mark attempt to pressure me into something I did not want. It was now after closing, and he phoned other dealerships, checked inventories, and in the end, the one with 400 miles was all that remained. We took it for a spin around the block; like the green model, I fell in love with the car, but was still on the fence. Mark greeted us upon our return with the same easy-going mannerism, and professional attitude, again without pressuring us into anything. Mark was the deciding factor for me. To call him the best salesman I’ve encountered, would be selling him short. He truly is an outstanding Motoring Advisor.

But wait-- our experience with Northwest Mini’s staff did not end with Mark. Business Manager Diane Steeves was a pure joy to work with. Like Mark, she was very professional, with a genuinely welcoming personality. All the paperwork involved with the purchase of two cars couldn’t have gone smoother. Everything was in order, no hidden surprises, or pressure to purchase any additions. By the time we met with her, we are at least an hour past closing, yet Diane couldn’t have been nicer. She was a real pleasure to work with.

Mark and Diane were such great people. They made buying two new cars— something that could have been very stressful— a wonderful experience. My wife and I also wish to acknowledge the gentlemen in the service department who stayed late to clean, and prepare the vehicles for us. Like everyone we met that day at Northwest Mini, they were awesome, and made us feel welcome. Northwest Mini has earned our business for years to come.

My Review Of Northwest MINI:

Terry helped me build the MINI I could not find anywhere in the country that had all my must have's! He was so patient with me, offered suggestions without trying to sell me something.
We walked out to the lot so I could envision what everything might look like on my build.
I had already checked out another dealer, but everyone I spoke with was informative and nice. I work in customer service and thought this dealership rated 5 stars for me.

I was buying my car through the Costco program. Will was the one who followed up & he made the whole experience easy & enjoyable. The big thing for me he didn't try to up sell me on anything. I was very happy with the whole experience.

Rocky was awesome! From our first meeting to closing the deal and driving off the NW Mini lot with a new Mini Cooper coupe. He provided informative details and asked questions about what we were looking for and then show cased available models and options that fit our needs. My wife and I felt comfortable with Rocky from the start and enjoyed our Mini purchase experience. My Review Of Northwest MINI:

On 3/16/13 I purchased my second new MINI. I traded in my 2010 for the most beautiful 2013 MINI Countryman. I did my homework prior to the purchase and knew what I should be paying and what I should receive for my trade in. Graham (in service) and I discussed the fact I was interested in a new vehicle during a service visit and he arranged for a Countryman loaner. I was sold driving #106. Rocky contacted me, we made an appointment and he made the transition exceptional and without a hitch. The fact that my favorite MINI color of the British Green being available was destiny. The customer service from Rocky was top notch. Definitely will be back. Can't wait to see what MINI will develop next.

My Review Of Northwest MINI:

I initially contacted Rocky to order a MINI for my wife for her birthday and he did an excellent job during the process of ordering and delivering the car. I had lots of questions over email and he answered each one thoroughly and quickly. He helped me get clear on the financial terms before delivery so that when I picked it up with my wife there would be no haggling. We had some hiccups on the day of pickup because some terms we agreed to over email were not actually available, and I had that here-we-go-again feeling that I was about to have a typical (bad) car dealer experience. But to their credit Rocky and Eddie worked it out really well and the end result was actually a better deal than I had expected. And overall Rocky knows these vehicles really well and is clearly passionate about what he does. That's really refreshing compared to the usual auto dealership experience.

My Review Of Northwest MINI:

Excellence...My entire experience at Northwest MINI was top notch. From the initial visit and test drive to the day I picked up my ride, everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and really went out of their way to make my experience fantastic.

Will Sheen was salesperson I worked with initially. His role with my car-buying experience was such a big part about why I love my MINI-Buying Experience. When I went in, I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure how to go about the process. Will was patient, answered all of my questions (no matter how silly they may have seemed!) in the showroom AND via email, and did his best to make the car selection and purchase painless and fun. Will took the time to look at what was already slated to come into the showroom and help me find exactly the MINI I was looking for. Oddly enough, it happened to be the exact car I had designed online...almost as if they had plucked it from my thoughts and had it coming my way!

Unfortunately, the MINI I was waiting for didn't come into the showroom as expected and seemed to have disappeared. When I went back to the showroom to check my options for getting a car ordered, Will was unfortunately unavailable, but Mark jumped right in to help me locate the car I was hunting and made arrangements to have it delivered to the Northwest MINI dealership. Will arranged to have the final options installed when it finally arrived and really did his best to make me feel like a rockstar throughout the whole process.

However, Brad really topped off my MINI experience and made it truly fantastic. Brad helped me finish off the financing and presented all of my options. He was very patient, offered options without pressure, and really made the paperwork part painless and fun.

When I picked up my MINI, we ended up taking about a full hour to finally drive off...but one of my favorite experiences was the "revealing" of my new MINI. They had it waiting on the showroom floor...SO COOL! Brad gave me a run-down of all the features in my new MINI, patiently walked me through all the bells and whistles, and made the whole experience fantastic. I had a blast and Northwest MINI really made me feel like a total rockstar, start to finish!

Northwest MINI was really outstanding, not pretentious or pushy. They are patient, professional, understanding, and super friendly...this is the sort of service our American car companies need to follow!

My Review Of Northwest MINI:

I recently purchased my Mini from Northwest Mini. My first line of contact was through their Internet Manager Brad Davis, then I was introduced to Robert Caster.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a brand new 2013, but ended up leaving quite satisfied with a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Mini Hardtop. From start to finish, both Brad and Robert were fantastic people to work with. I've worked in the motorcycle industry for years, and between the two... there is (can be) quite a different selling approach. To me there is a big difference in someone "guiding" you through your purchase as opposed to "selling" you.

I'm ecstatic with my purchase from Brad, Robert, and Northwest Mini. I wouldn't hesitate one second recommending this dealership to friends and family. After I complete a service, I'll be happy to come back and report!

My Review Of Northwest MINI:

I touched base with Brad via cars.com and he got everything set up so when I came in I was able to just focus on the cars. Will was very helpful with that and then Diane helped me get all the financials sorted out.
