My Review Of Olathe Kia:

I purchased a Sorento January 31 and asked for the sales tax to be included in the loan. Everything went well until the sales tax didn't come in the mail. On February 22, I began inquiring about when I would receive it. After much back and forth, yesterday March 12, I find out it was not included in my loan. I asked for a manager to call me. Nobody called so today March 13 at 7:50p, I called and talked to Jay. He was already familiar with my situation (but apparently had no plans of contacting me). He tells me the tax was not included in the loan because I lived in Missouri. This was the first I had heard this. He says my sales guy and finance guy are familiar with this rule. I said that when I asked for the sales tax, they should have told me right then and there. They knew I lived in MO (it was on all of my paperwork). He basically called me a liar that the sales guy didn't tell me about this. He says everyone at the dealer know this.

Because it took so long for anyone to tell me that I wasn't getting a check for the sales tax, now I am left with only a few weeks to come up with thousands of dollars to pay the sales tax. Jay said he was "sorry" but offered nothing to ease my situation. Sorry will not find me money to pay my sales tax.

1. If I was told that night I would not be able to include the sakes tax, I would not have purchased the vehicle. Was that information kept from me on purpose so I would purchase the vehicle?

2. Why was I not told when I first starting inquiring that the reason the tax was not included was because I live in MO if the sales guy and the finance guy knew? Why did it take from February 22 until March 12?

Don't buy from this dealership unless you don't want any customer service once they sell you the car!

This was our Third Kia purchased since 2002 from Olathe Kia. Always treated with great service and will remember how we are very fair in everyway. Doc Snyder was our first two new Kia sportages and Darrell Augustine the Forte. Great salesmen in everyway.

My Review Of Olathe Kia:

Joe was very friendly and helpful. He understood right away what I was looking for and gave me options but didn't try to push me in another direction like many other car salesmen do when looking at used. He respected my need to think about what I wanted before making a decision. Pushy salesmen usually make me want to leave immediately, but Joe made me feel like I could trust him and that's what made me return to Olathe Kia to purchase the first car I had stopped to look at. He helped me with all of my concerns so I felt great about my purchase. Brent helped with the finance end of the paperwork and was very nice and helpful, too. It was a great experience and I am planning to recommend Olathe Kia & Joe to my friends.

My Review Of Olathe Kia:

Sales Professional Randy was just that, he listened, was patient, was responsive and genuinely seemed to care about the friend I was attempting to assist locate an appropriate used car at a time of need. Though not an easy deal or circumstance, Randy was polite and persistant and was able to offer other options and vehicles in an effort to place my friend in a safe, economical and affordable car. Randy worked well with other sales staff in the office and very well with the sales manager who was very helpful and professional as well. I am 50 years of age and I can only remember back to when men in this field were, again, as genuine and professional as these folks. They got my friend into a very affordable and appropriate vehicle and made her feel very happy, safe and proud.

Thank You Randy Fritzshall and the rest of the folks at Olathe Kia, we drove all over town and only had to actually drive around the corner to get a solid car and a fair deal in Olathe.
Randy was the best.

My Review Of Olathe Kia:

We went in to buy a new Soul. We had previously asked them to search for a red one for us. We knew there was one available a day before at a dealer near by. When we returned to see if they had found one the salesmen and the sales manager said the other dealership had sold it. We were bamboozled into thinking we had to get one in dune or alien. We told them we would settle for the dune color, because "It would take 3-4 weeks to get a red one."(Quote from the sales manager) On the test drive to make sure we wanted it, we called the other dealer to make sure the sales staff wasn't pulling a fast one. We then found out the red one was still available and wasn't even attempted to be pulled for us. We promptly drove back, told them the red was still available, and the salesmen had the audacity to ask "what if we got the red one for you?" We left and received an email 2 days later apologizing. If they were men they would call and tell us sorry that they lied to our faces. If you are planning on purchasing a car from them do your due diligence. It would be different if it were just the one salesmen, but it was the sales manager as well. I don't see how a place that rotten to the core maintains business.

My Review Of Olathe Kia:

Went in to buy a new Kia Sorento two weeks ago. Olathe Kia did not have the one I wanted so we gave Doc our information and were told we would be contacted in a couple days. A week went by with no word. I sent an e-mail to Doc and have not received a response. I am so confused why I am not receiving a response. I guess he does not want to sell a car. We were even introduced to the sales manager and I have heard nothing from the sales manager either. We had checkbook in hand and a clear titled vehicle to trade in, but we cannot get a reply back. Odd situation!
