My Review Of Pacific Volkswagen:
Dealing with Pacific Volkswagen continues to be a horrible experience.
The purchase of the car was fine, but it needed to have some minor work done. I was given a rental car that was in poor condition. The dealership, obviously, has hundreds of cars it could have loaned me. But they chose to give me a car that broke down on the second day of using it. I called to report this to Nikos, who basically said "too bad." The car was shaking and blowing black smoke. I called again and spoke to Kristy, who told me I would have to wait an hour for a tow truck and then come down to Hawthorne to exchange the rental. I said this was unacceptable, and she said I could rent a car nearer to me that would be reimbursed.
All this was an inconvenience, and I was upset that I didn't have a working car, and upset that Nikos never accepted any responsibility or expressed remorse for what happened.
However, what happened after that really makes me angry. I rented the car in April. Now, in July, I am still trying to be reimbursed for it. I have probably called Kristy about 8 times to deal with this. She has avoided my calls, failed to call me back, told me she has left messages for me when she actually hasn't, and blamed various other departments at the dealership for messing up. I am really angry and it has been a horrible experience.
