My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
I took my car for SES light and to check the brakes. I dropped the car off on Saturday at the dealership and filled about paperwork with the problem and was told since I have no appointment, they will call me on Monday.

No body called on Monday until I called them around noon. They had no information about the car, so i gace them my information over the phone and the guy on the other side said he will investigate and call me back. Teo hours passed by and no phone calls, I drove up there and they said we will look at it and give you a call. An hour later I received a call and mr. Jon mentioned the key to my car is not working and I need to bring my other key in so they can reprogram the keys, he did not forget to recommend all the services that would total up to $1500; when i asked about the reason about me bringing the car if they can figure out what it is and fix it, he had no clue what i brought the car in for.

I brought them the key and was told they will call me on Monday with what needs to be done. I was also told there are no loaner cars and when i asked for a rental that i would pay for he gave me a phone number and said call them since we deal with them and they will come tp pick you up. I drove home and before I parked i get another call that there are no problems with the car and the keys are fixed and that i can come pick it up.

I picked the car up and had a couple of questions in which i got the infamous i have no idea and i don't know answer.(thankfully they hosed the car to wash it, yup and i was not charged a dime, after all no work was done on the car) after i got home i figured let me try the keys that they fixed and to my surprise only one key is working. The valet key is not working. (It was working fine before).

I recommend you never take your car there.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
I brought my car in for repairs, I had a rattle in the front right side they told me they knew what the problem was and it would cost $1150.00 and any other place it would have cost $600.00. I got the car back and was told that the problem was 99% fixed but a front strut needed to be replaced but after 2 weeks I briught the car in and got a call saying sorry we missed this but the noise is the top engine mount. I'm not rich and 1100.00 is allt of money to have someone miss diagnose your car. the said the would put the part in and did not charge me for it but $160.00 vs 1100.00 is a big difference.

Found this dealership to be considerably less than honest. Throw in deceptive, and evasive and you get BUYER BEWARE.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
What a horrible dealership!

Went to buy a used honda accord for an internet advertised price of $16, 897. Met with Charles Shewmaker and Kevin Drost, and Charles Blackstone. Gave $1,000 deposit and a buyers order. Was told I would be called when "maintenance was done." Then, no call. Every time I called, was told that tires were ordered for the car from "Seattle." Now, has been over one week, and suddenly the internet price has changed to $19,647. Refusing to honor their written and verbal agreement.

The people there are a bunch of crooks and liars. They wasted my time, effort, and now they are in breach of contract.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Use it only for test driving, but NOT buying.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
This dealership is not honest. Bought a brand new infiniti, only to find out after bringing it home, it had previous paint work done. Took it back and had to spend more money to get another new one. If I had to do it all again, I would have asked for my money back and ran. I will never deal with them again or recommend them to anyone. Don't trust them.

Okay experience, did not like the fact that the sales rep had to bring his manager out to haggle prices. Manager was not that friendly but other than that everything was okay.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
Best dealership for Infinity purchase. I got a quick response for my quote request via internet. They gave the best quote and didn't low ball me when I went in for my car purchase. I forgot the smarttag for my tradein and when I realized that, they tracked it down for me though the tradein car has already been sold.<br><br>I dealt with Jim Coleman before I bought the car from passport and the experience at Jim Coleman was quite bad. They said one thing on the phone and changed their words when I went in to the dealership.<br><br>Of the three Infinity dealerships in the DC metro area that I contacted (Rosenthal, Passport and Jim Coleman), Passport Infinity has the fastest response time and they tried their best to get my business.<br><br>I was considering Acura TL and Infinity G35. When I went in to test drive the Acura at a local dealership, the sales guy asked me what other cars I am considering. When I mentioned that I test drove G35 at passport Infinity, the Acura sales guy said if you are buying infinity, buy it from Passport, they are the best infinity dealers in this area. He said he owned a G35 coupe before and he bought it from Passport.<br><br>If a sales person from a competing maker has good words for passport, then passport infinity is a good place to buy your car from.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
I would recommend them in that the postings I have seen for other Infiniti dealers is are worse. My experience with the Internet sales dept. was pleasant. I was caught up in the buying frenzy so I am sure I was screwed on the financing, but I am paying it off early so it won't be as bad. It was the post sale follow-up that was disapointing and left a bad taste in my mouth. I was asked to come back on 2 occasions to resign paper work that was lost or filled out wrong. My 30 day tags expired without so much as a call fromthe dealer. After I notified them, they found a problem with the bank. I was put in 2 diffeent cars for a week while the mess was sorted out. Even little signs of quality were missing. My license plate was put on crooked. I thought they had just been in a rush . When I removed it to straighten it, I discovered that they had drilled the holes into the bumper of my G35 coupe wrong. I might expect this from a Ford but this was supposed to be a step up. A &quot;luxury line&quot;. Odd that these reviews are either all 5's or all 2's. At best, these guys do not seem consistent.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
The following is my experience with Passport of Infiniti in Virginia Alexandria on April 27, 2005.<br> <br>From an internet quote request. Passport quoted me an advertisement of 500 dollars below invoice on an all new 2005 G35X excluding taxes, tags, and destination charge. The model I was looking for was a base 2005 G35x. This particular car had splash guards, trunk mat, and spare tire.<br> <br>Upon entering the dealership, I was greeted by the dealer and we test drove the car. Everything was fine up until we sat down to start the paper work. The price this company quoted me was about 610 dollars over what I was expecting. Turns out they included the destination charge as part of their original invoice. So this is how they calculated the invoice price:<br> <br>Invoice = Base + Options + DESTINATION CHARGE<br> <br>The calculation of the final price is:<br>Final Price = Invoice (from above) + DESTINATION CHARGE (AGAIN) - 500 (from the internet quote)<br> <br>Basically the dealer is trying to make you believe you are getting a 500 dollar discount but in reality you're not. They make it up by charging you Destination charge twice. True, some of you may think that's still a good price, which I believe is true. There are other dealers like Rosenthal and Timonium that will give you deals for the same if not better.<br> <br>When I pointed this out to him, the sales person got his manager and his manager came back to say &quot;take it or leave it&quot;. The guy lied straight to my face saying that they are not charging me destination charge twice. The manager even printed out the invoice. Even the invoice showed the exact calculation above, but the manager refused to admit he was charging me twice for destination. They knew I caught them in a lie and that's when I just packed up and left.<br> <br>Just be wary of dealer tricks like this. I would not trust anyone at that dealer.

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
Let's see... I purchased a pre-owned vehicle but what they wanted to give me for my trade-in was less than what I expected. This was no big deal to me since I had a friend that was going to buy it from me anyway. I was told I could keep in on the lot until he was able to get me the money. My friend got me the money that same week, and I told them I would be in to give it to them towards my purchase and pick up the truck then. All of this was agreed upon. They wound up selling my truck to one of their employees, even after my friend had registered it in Mass already. The manager, Mike, couldn't come up with an answer as to why it was sold and told me I couldn't get it back. he asked me to leave his office telling me &quot;he didn't want to deal with me anymore&quot;. Good Customer service, Mike! I was in my right in wanting the truck back and you go ahead and do that. Anyway, the very same day I purchased the new truck, I was told the plates would be in less than 30 days later. I received a call after that 30 days telling me that i had to get it inspected in MD before I could get my new plates. What? why wasn't I told of this WHEN I BOUGHT IT? I'm from MA where we get plates the same day we buy it, and I just moved here. It's now been 6 weeks and my temp tags are expired, no plates yet. Also, they never call back. I've been very patient with them, but I'm about to lose it

My Review of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria:
This dealership is a good place to buy a car only if you finance through them. If you finance through your credit union or bank, this dealership will not sell you a car, unless you authorize them to run another credit report check; thus lowering your becon score. When asked why do you have to run another credit report check, there is no good justification. Also, this dealership will not sell you a car, unless you sign a privacy notice that states that they can do pretty much whatever they want to do with your personal information (e.g., SSN) without giving you an opportunity to opt out. However, they say you can scratch out whatever you don't agree with -- this won't hold up in a court of law. It appears that there is an underlining marketing ploy - be cautious! Ruth and Barry are professional and very friendly and great to work with. Bottom line, I was sent away with a $16,000 check in hand from my credit union, because I did not authorize another credit report check.
