My Review of Precision Acura:
I'm on my 4th Acura.... so, I clearly like the product.
I had a BIG problem with the fast talking jerk who sold me my first car (now a salesmager.... that kind of say it all).
Although their location is far more convenient than others, after passing on a vehicle their because it simply was not in my budget (saleman led me to believe that he could work something out for a loyal customer, a "friend," someone who is "like family") - but, unfortunately I couldn't swing it this time. Then, my partner went to E. Brunswick (Open Road) without me knowing - and surprised me by telling me that he reported the deal that I passed on and they offered a deal that cost more than $3500 less.....
When buying/leasing a $46K car, you don't quibble over a couple of hundred dollars, but over $3500 is real money to me.... particularly when it is the profit that your "friends" are making on you.... not that they don't deserve a profit.... just shut up and don't cheat me.
Recap:
-I had a terrible problem with my first experience and refused to get another vehicle from that dealership if that salesman was grandfathered into a commission
-my sister has a friend who felt that they were racist... so went to PA to purchse their Acura
-My boss drives an MDX and their service department treated his sweet wife so poorly that he, too, will never step foot in their dealership again (he lives/works in Princeton)and goes to Open Road (E. Bruswick)
-and with me, they were going to charge me penalties on my return lease that SHOCKED the people at Open Road. Granted Open Road may be larger and have better negotiating power on a vehicle, but tacking on unnecessary charges to a customer buying a third car in a row/ANY customer, is outrageous.
They have lost my business.... oh, the Lexus dealership across the street is very nice....
