The SERVICE CENTER of Honda Priority Chesapeake VA was dishonest, scamming the elderly. In early November 2023, my husband took his 3,000 miles 2020 Honda Accord Sport (yes, only 3,000 miles) for a FREE dishonest, scamming the elderly. In early November 2023, my husband took his 3,000 miles 2020 Honda Accord Sport (yes, only 3,000 miles) for a FREE INSPECTION as offered by Priority. This dealer has an ART to trick a 76 years old man to believe that "Both front & back brakes were WORN OUT on a 3,000 miles car !!!". Their technique of TRICKING ELDERLY was skillful: First, they told my husband that the pad & rotor of FRONT brake were bad "barely made the inspection", he was told the price was $430. Of course, when the word INSPECTION mentioned, my husband freaked out and gave them permission to fix it. Then 45 minutes later, service rep came back with another bad news: "pad & rotor of the BACK brake need changed as well". Please note that this time, she did not mention INSPECTION, so my husband said NO. Then the car got done, with the price tag of $900 ???, she said that "BOTH BRAKES (pads and rotors each) were replaced". My husband said "I did not authorize on the back brake!!!". At the end, they charged for the front brake $430, which was authorized. There are two issues here: 1. Both brakes, pads & rotors were worn out on a 3,000 mile of the car? There was no recall of brake on 2020 Honda Accord Sport? 2. After filing a complaint with Attorney General of VA, we were informed by Chesapeake Honda "as of June 12, 2023, Priority neither owned or operated the subject dealership..." If they think this will get them off the hook, they are mistaken: We WILL pursue further this matter further to stop Priority Honda Chesapeake abusing the elderly, scamming clients like this. The war is NOT over with us yet. More
Buying the car was the easy part, it's the inspections that will get you. I brought my car in for an inspection and the only thing I changed on it was adding rain guards and door handle covers. They faile that will get you. I brought my car in for an inspection and the only thing I changed on it was adding rain guards and door handle covers. They failed me for brakes and rotors that I knew were a little low anyway but also for my brake lights not being the "right ones". I bought my car this way so I wasn't going to pay for them to change out the lights. They also quoted me $900 for new pads and rotors on the front even though they passed inspection. The full pads and rotors set for front and rear are maybe a little over $200. So I'll be buying them myself and changing them to save $900. This is what a "free" inspection gets you when you buy a car here. They also need to keep the car another day because they don't have the rotors in stock. Also, last time I left after having my car checked out, one of my tires was filled about 10psi over what they should be. The front desk people are nice though. More

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I don't even know when I got rid of my Mercedes for a Honda to begin with. They put a rejection sticker on my 2020 Honda civic for no reason. Tried t I don't even know when I got rid of my Mercedes for a Honda to begin with. They put a rejection sticker on my 2020 Honda civic for no reason. Tried to tell me it was because one of my tires was ( improperly patched) and tried to charge me 300$ for just one tire. When I have a warranty on the tires somewhere else. I even got paperwork from the tire company that said there's nothing wrong with tires and they still said. It's going to be rejected. Not only is this a brand new car but why make the Honda brand look bad. Knowing I have a 2020 with a rejection sticker for no reason. I will be going to a Mercedes dealership by the end this week and celebrate getting rid of this piece of xxxx and not dealing with this xxxxty xxx dealership again. Good riddance and I highly recommend that if you looking for a Honda. Go somewhere else. The free oil is completely garbage. Even though it's free you have to get an oil change every two months, the service is trash, the customer service is trash overall. They just made the whole Honda brand seem pretty xxxxty to me and I wouldn't Recommend this dealership or brand to anybody. Look else where. Please save yourself the trouble. They only want your money. They could care less about the Honda brand itself. Now I gotta take time out of work again to get my 2020 Honda civic inspected somewhere else and than go trade this car in because of this dealership. Please save yourself the trouble. Go to a different dealership if you really want a Honda please. More
Buyers' Beware Priorities for Life Warranty is too good to be true! Never been treated so poorly in my life! Priorities for Life Warranty is a joke, the salespeople lie about what you get when you purchase to be true! Never been treated so poorly in my life! Priorities for Life Warranty is a joke, the salespeople lie about what you get when you purchase your car from them. They tell you that you can take it to any Priority dealership for work, and rush you through the signing. Then when you need an engine they let you know you've voided the warranty by taking it to a Priority dealership outside of the selling dealership, and they're really sorry about it. After fighting for what should have happened in the first place they decided to warranty my engine, however, with a used engine. They passed me off to a very brave employee who wasn't afraid to treat me poorly. He had no update for me, ever, he avoided my phone call, and wouldn't call me back. Obviously, they were bitter about the fact that I yelled at one of their managers for trying to deny an engine warranty. So I guess they treated me how they thought I deserved. I don't feel confident with the work done on the car and intend to trade it in at a Casey Dealership when the time is right and hopefully before this engine gives up on me. I hope they stop trying to screw people out of their warranties, sad business they're in. More
If you purchase a vehicle from Chesapeake priority i will guarantee that at every inspection they will find something wrong and it will always cost 40 to 60 dollars and if you don't pay it gets rejected the guarantee that at every inspection they will find something wrong and it will always cost 40 to 60 dollars and if you don't pay it gets rejected then they make you wait longer to inconvenience you. Most of the workers here are super nice but a lot are rude, inconsiderate and just act like they are doing you a favor. Place is a xxxxx joke More
Scammers. Told me that they could not program the key to my Honda Civic, that the whole computer system needed to be replaced, and I needed $380 in additional repairs to program the key. Charged me for a ke my Honda Civic, that the whole computer system needed to be replaced, and I needed $380 in additional repairs to program the key. Charged me for a key that turned out to not even be the right key for my vehicle, a total waste of $90. Service advisor was rude and unprofessional. I later confirmed with a locksmith who specializes in programming car keys that the key they sold me was not the proper key for my vehicle. he was able to program one of his keys to my car with no issues whatsoever, and no additional repair. When I called to speak to someone regarding the issue, I was referred to a manager that was rude, and unprofessional. This company prides themselves on putting customers first, but the way this situation was handed was a disgrace. I was in earlier in the week prepared to by a $26,000 car from this company, and I service my cars here often, but sadly, Priority Honda has lost my business for life. More

I arrived at 8:25, parked my car in the garage, and stood there, waiting for someone to acknowledge me. After waiting until 8:35 and watching different employees talking and drinking coffee or water, I finally asked someone if I was in the right place. "Oh yes, we'll take care of you in a minute." So they finally asked why I was there. Several months ago, my "engine malfunction" light went off. I went to Auto Zone and got a FREE diagnostics test that told me that my rear oxygen sensor needed replaced. Took it to a mechanic, he replaced it. Engine malfunction light went off again in a few weeks. I took it back to him, and he said that the software wasn't properly reading the new oxygen sensor, and that they couldn't update the software--only a Honda dealership could. So, I scheduled an appointment at Priority Honda. Big mistake. So I explained all this to the guy (Chandler) that took my info. I asked him how much to update the software. He said either $61 or $131. I said, "Wow! That's a big difference, and seems like a lot for a software update. I hope it's only $61." He said he'd check with the technician and come and let me know before they did anything. So I sat in the waiting room. And sat. And sat. Chandler didn't come and update me. Nobody did. Finally, after 1 hour and 45 minutes, a guy (either Rick or Rich--I wish I would have gotten his name) came and announced that they were ready to tell me that my car was ready. I followed him to the cash register. He said they did a diagnostic and that my rear oxygen sensor was faulty. I told him that I didn't need a diagnosis--that I needed a software update. He said that the technician said my car's software was already updated. I said so then I shouldn't have to pay anything, right? He said, well we had to do a diagnostic test to see why the engine malfunction light was on. I told him that I already know the diagnostic says my oxygen sensor is faulty--I've been to Auto Zone twice, and they diagnosed it for FREE both times and told me the same thing. And I had it replaced by a mechanic and he told me the same thing as well. I told him I didn't want to pay $131 for something I already knew about, and that I was told it might be $131 for a software update, NOT a diagnostic test. He said, "Well, it's $131." I told him that I'm sorry if I'm irritated, but asked him to put himself in my shoes. and whether he would think it's unreasonable to pay $131 to pay for test that I can get for FREE at Auto Zone, and that I came in to get my software updated. When they told me it didn't need updated, then what am I paying for? I told him I didn't feel like I should pay, and that I don't want to pay. He just looked at me. I asked him what happens if I don't pay. He said, "We have your car keys, and you won't get your car back." Well, that's great customer service. Fantastic. I looked at the receipt, and it says that they recommend I get my oxygen sensor replaced. For over $400. I told him I'm not replacing the oxygen sensor, and that I'll pay only to get my car back. I paid the $131, grudgingly, and they brought me my car. It was washed. So I feel like I paid $131 for a car wash. Thanks Priority. I won't be back. And I'll let everyone I know about my experience. We serviced our Priority Honda's in New Bern, NC when we were stationed down there, and they were fantastic with customer service and always gave us prompt, reliable, and reasonable service. This experience was precisely the opposite. More
