My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
I was charge 1.5 hours of labor to diagnose and replace a blown fuse. I am not a master mechanic, but do know to check the simple things first and was a little disgruntled. When I asked the service manager if this was a common problem he said no.
The next day the fuse blew again. The service manager said I would be billed labor to further isolate the trouble. Instead of going back to Schomp, I took the car to my local BMW service Autoworks. He quickly told me that there was a Service Bulletin that described my problem exactly. Since my car is under Certified Pre Owned Warantee, I call Schomp back. They said that all of their mechanics go home at 3:00 p.m. and he couldn't confirm the problem and said my mechanic had no right to see BMW Service Bulletins. Long Story Short, don't use Schomp! They are rip offs.

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
Do not ever have your BMW serviced at Ralph Schomp. On three separate occassions I've left the dealership and have had new and more expensive problems with my car within 48 hours after leaving the dealership. Also, on my last visit I was promised a loaner vehicle. When I arrived they said that they didn't have my loander but could put me on the shuttle, only to realize that the shuttle didn't normally service my part of town on that day. I wasted 2 hours getting to work. Two of the negative service experiences have involved Brian as my service manager.

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
I just bought my Z4 3.0 from Brian Neal. He is, by far, the friendliest, most knowledgeable sales person I have ever encountered. For two years he has not only tolerated, but actually welcomed my monthly visits to the dealership to look at various BMWs, kick the tires, talk cars, etc. If you are going to buy a BMW, you have to get Brian's assistance. There's no pretentious attitude, etc. Just a friendly, smart-as-hell, guy who will treat you better than you've ever been treated. Oh - and the car is great, too!

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
I purchased my CPO Wagon from Brian in Oct 2003. I had just totalled my other car and was waiting for the insurance money. They just recieved the wagon the day before. We test drove it and loved it. We told Brian our situation and he held the car for another 4 weeks for a $500 deposit. He also got us approved on BMW Finances at 1.9%.

When going back for service, he remembers my wife, our dogs names and when we purchased it.

If looking for a new car, talk with Brian.

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
I took my 90 325is to have a diag. done the first time they told me it would cost around $1500.00. I ended up changing the part my self with no results. The second time I went in they told me it was running fine.
Bull!!!!! the car took like 5-6 seconds of cranking to start.
finally I asked some guys at my work what it could be, changed the part and that was it. (injector)
seems like unless the check engine light is on they DON'T know how to diagnois.

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
I own a vintage BMW 3.0s and William in the parts department was able to locate everything for me. Highly reccomended dealership...they still pull out a vintage BMW Isetta for christmas and display it in their showroom. William is a dedicated parts man and a great help to all of us vintage BMW nuts who want original parts from the dealer. Thanks!!!

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
My friends purchased a new BMW 3-series from this dealer which started the most terrible consumer experience they've ever experienced. The car began breaking down almost immediately, which was bad enough, but the dealer response was the worst part. The dealer service center repeatedly either denied that anything was wrong (with a car that had to be towed numerous times in the first few months) or claimed that everything was fixed. My friends had to literally beg for loaner cars, for towing, for return phone calls and for a serious diagnostic investigation. Unbelievably, a registered letter to the owner of the dealer at the owner's home address went unanswered! The message was clear: "We have your money, now get lost!" My friends had to force BMW North America to take the car back after 6 months of continual break-downs and after an entire month in the repair facility. Bad customer service on a mind boggling level.

My Review of Ralph Schomp BMW:
Horrible customer service - I had problems with them on both the sales side of things as well as the service side. I special ordered a brand new convertible - they tried to change the contract at the time of delivery to make more money / also the options I ordered were incorrect. The car was also pathetic. It had to be towed into the shop because of electrical / computer problems 4 times and overall required service calls 7 times until I was able to get rid of the car. The dealership would do absolutely nothing to help. Once the car left their lot - they didn't want anything to do with it. Stay away!
