My Review of Ramsey Acura:
I was so excited to get a new MDX. I went back to this dealership twice to test drive and go over the deal. My husband after some convincing of the managers got them to a decent MDX car payment. I left the dealership being told I was good to go, all the paperwork was signed, credit app filled out, and even met with the fiance guy. We left a $200 deposit with a cc and was told they would call us with a definate date for when the truck would be here. I recieved a phone call 3 days later being told that after a credit review- my not so perfect credit couldnt get that price and that they wanted $100 more per montly payment. I flipped out on the phone and was told by the sales guy he would take care of it and get back to me. A day later he called saying he used his connections and that we were good to go. The truck was coming from the factory and would be here as planned. (about 2 weeks) The next week I had my husband call just to make sure we were good to go- and no one new what I was talking about. They even called me a liar saying no one every called me. Long story short I didnt get the Acura..and it took us almost a month to get the $200 credited back to my credit card. The worst part is..since they ran my credit and the next dealership it came up on the report. STAY AWAY from this place..

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
Great Dealership! Tommy T. is extremely helpful. I leased a vehicle from him last year. He beat all other prices over the phone and honored his final price upon arrival. I was in and out in no more than an hour driving the car in the color and trim which I requested. I plan on leasing another vehicle from him in the next month.
After reading some other reviews, I am very surprised! Having leased several cars, this is the first time that I had come in and not only was the price unbeatable there were no extra fees they for some reason remembered to add on top of their original quote upon my arrival.
Would recommend, it is a little out of my way but worth the drive.

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
Just bought 2009 TL SH-AWD w/ tech. It had some engine valve noise (clipping sound when the engine revs up & down, also when in idle) so I took it to their service dept. The manager told me the sound was normal. So I told him to have someone compare my car with exactly the same car at the lot. So did, and the other car had no such sound. I left the car there overnight for them to take a look. Also had my service rep compare with other cars just incase.

I get a call next morning, they were not able to locate any car at their lot producing the same kind of noise. At this point, you would think the sound is not normal and they would make some kind of adjustment…. Wrong! They refused to do anything because ACURA Tech Support has told them not to despite the fact when the problem was recognized.

If ACURA thinks that it’s OK for a customer to live with this annoying sound on a fully loaded, brand new, $40,000 car, then so be it. ACURA is cheap and their standard is low. I have a BMW X5, it also had a similar problem (tapping noise at cold start) they ordered new cylinder head part from Germany and fixed the problem.

This is my 3rd ACURA and will be my last.

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
Although I didn't purchase a vehicle here, the experience was very positive. Their hours were longer than any others, and their response time was immediate. They sent me the final price without going through the hassles, and were fair in their Trade In. Tom T (through the internet) did everything and more.

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
This may be the worst dealership experience I've ever had. And this would have been my third purchase from these guys! Suffice to say, they are not interested in fair service. Specifically, when signing forms with the Business Manager, do not sign anything which waives your right to 48-72 hours to review the contracts. They put this sheet in front of me to sign with about 10 other forms, and, because I trusted them, I signed it. Then when I changed my mind about the car, they used this form to tell me I had no recourse! NJ Law provides for the 48-72 hour review period. Why would they even create a form for prospective buyers to sign unless they were planning to use it against them. Simply, this is a very dishonest dealership. Buyer Beware! Customer service means nothing to them.

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
Only had one sales person for pre-owned vehicles on a Saturday. Several customers were waiting to be helped with the pre-owned vehicles. After very long wait, was treated very poorly by used car manager. Once he actually came out to help me, I put my hand out and told him my name. He barely shook my hand and didn't even bother to tell me his name (hence me referring to him as the used car manager). Then he asked my what I wanted, as if I were inconveniencing him. He had a major chip on his shoulder and was extremely unprofessional.

It is a beautiful dealership, which is a convenient location for me, but I will never buy a car there and will tell everyone I know how poor their customer service is!!! By the way, it turns out my neighbor had a similar experience there as well and ended up purchasing from a different dealership located farther away.

My Review of Ramsey Acura:
After a horrible experience with Acura Manhattan, I went out to Ramsey Acura because they were open late (9pm) on weekdays. This was one year ago. They honored the price they discussed on the phone and made sure they had the exact type of car I was looking for before I went there.

They provided me a test drive without any problems and were happy to discuss what needed to be done to get me the car the following day. Even though we ended up in the showroom 30 minutes after closing, they never pushed us out or made excuses to finish up later.

Walked out with a fully loaded CL-Type S w/nav in the exact color I was looking for. Went back over the year to service the car and the service dept has always been professional and accurate in estimating time and cost. Could not be happier.

Ramsey Acura was light years ahead of Manhattan Acura in professionalism and helpfulness.
