My Review of Rasmussen BMW:
My first BMW, and I did some shopping. I went in with a friend and met Art about 2 months before ordering my car. I was very pleased with the sales process; no pressure, several test drives. Art spent the time asking me what kind of driving I liked to do, size of family, kind of travel, and eventually walked me to a recommendation. Now this is the part I was really impressed with, I wasn't pressured into getting bells and whistles, nor into "taking one off the lot". My car is now on it's way here from the factory and I can't be more pleased. This was not like the last 3 car buying experiences I had; it was a very pleasant surprise. Once the car's here and in need of service, I'll update my rating for that aspect of the dealership.

When I brought my E36M# in for service a few months ago the service was amazing. I was hearing some clicks and rattles, they started a few days before. When I went in and saw Syd he was very hlppful and I even was able to speak with the technician who was working on my car. They were very friendly and trust worthy. I had previous service at Kuni in beaverton and it was no where near as quick or quality. If you are looking for a good reliable dealership with great workers this is the place to go!!!!

I tried Rasmussen first - they absolutely thought it was too much trouble to arrrange a european delivery for me. Talk about the cold shoulder! It was as if they wanted me to go to Germany and never come back. I went to KUNI BMW and they immediately helped me - arranged for the appropriate navagation CD and were wonderful. Upon the return of the vehicle to the USA Kuni took extra care to make sure the car was serviced and clean. Auf Wiedersehen Rasmussen - Kuni has my business from now on.

I wish I had purchased my first BMW from Rasmussen. I took it in for an inspection the day after I bought it. I have been back everytime I have had a question regarding the car. Oil changes, everything goes through Rasmussen. They are a dream to work with, very friendly, very helpful and professional. <br>I can't say enough positive about their service. I visited Mike Taylor yesterday in Sales and will buy my X3 from him. Rasmussen is not a &quot;car dealer&quot;. They are a profession business with qualified car enthusiasts. I can't imagine buying this kind of car anywhere else.

Service - read this short story and find out how service is being applied at Rasmussen BMW: I bought my 330cica on ebay (sometimes you use Big Brother), I could not find what I wanted anywhere else - this particular car is exactly what I wanted, for my wife. The car was in Chicago. I flew out, I saw the car in the fading light and noticed body damage. The salesman said it must have happened in the carwash before I had arrived and he had not seen it, ok. He gave me a &quot;We Owe&quot; slip, basically an open credit to repair the specific part of the car (nothing else was wrong with it). After driving the car to Portland, I contacted the other Portland BMW Dealership that is closer to me, they did not return my call for hours. At least they could have called and said someone would call me. I called Rasmussen and was given Rosemary in Service. She said she was going to call me back in 5 minutes, she did. I explained I was concerned that the Chicago BMW Dealer would give me a hard time paying for the repair of the damage to the car the 'We Owe' slip was supposed to cover if it was not done through a BMW Dealer. She had originally told me that really I could just take it to the body shop and send the bill to Chicago Dealer, at least I should be able to. I told here that Chicago Dealer had not returned my call in days regarding the matter. Rosemary said bring it in, she would handle it. Relief, real relief. It was very professionally handled &amp; repaired in a very short time compared to other work I have had done on other cars - looks like new. The communication from the receptionist - especially the receptionist, all the way down the line was very good. When you experience people in a company that will freely communicate whatever you want to ask them about, aren't hiding or getting defensive or brushing you off - stick with those people. Due to the way I was communicated with at Rasmussen I'll be getting my next BMW from them. Peace out!

HORRIBLE service. Simple oil change and it took 2 days, got my new car back dirty, low on gas with 2 fluid indicators lighted up in the dash - that is how my first service experience with these jokers went. If you can avoid them and go to the Beaverton or Salem dealership you will be much happier. The service department doesn't even answer the phone, all voicemails they simply ignore. HORRIBLE.

I have been going to Rasmussen BMW for many years, and there is simply one reason ~ Their customer service is outstanding; All of my BMWs have been at least 5 years old, but I am always treated with the same respect as those customers who purchased their BMW new. Are they perfect ? No, however the difference is that if a mistake or error happens in regards to service, everyone seems to go above and beyond to take care of the situation immediately.<br> I highly recommend to any BMW owner that they try Rasmussen ~ you will have an excellent experience.<br>

I just sold my '01 X5 4.4i that I leased new through Rassmussen BMW. During the term of my lease their service department personnel were super friendly and polite, honored my appointments, saw that I had a late model 5 Series loaner, repaired and/or serviced without fault and returned my car on time. I couldn't have been more satisfied and I thank them for a positive experience; one so different than I have had with Mercedes-Benz, Rolls Royce and Porsche dealers.

My Review of Rasmussen BMW:
Rasmussen is easy to work with and has done excellent work on the several cars I have purchased there. In one case they did a superior job of repairing and aftermarket exhaust that I supplied that had severe damage from shipping when it arrived. The repaired tip was perfect, and they didn't charge me for the repair. Their motorsport department is excellant as well. They provide accurate advice in aftermarket parts, and have gone to far as to arrange for me to evaluate a suspension installed another customer's car. This kind of above and beyond the call attention, along with the low pressure and honest sales approach, is something one finds increasingly rare in this business.

This dealer has &quot;service&quot; as thier absolute last priority. <br><br>Great for sales &amp; Parts !!!!....but<br><br>Horrible When you need service, plan on talking to a voicemail machine 9 out of 10 times.<br><br>I would not get a BMW, had I known how poor the Service dept is.

Rasmussen is the best dealer I have ever done business with. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, excellent mechanical work. Plus they will drop me off at work and pick me up with 10 minutes' notice. I originally bought my '01 325i in California, but will be buying my next car at Rasmussen. Sorry if this sounds like hyperbolic praise, but it's nice to finally find a dealer that makes getting my car serviced a fun experience. Highly recommended.

I tried the other dealer here in the portland area (where I actually bought my car) but was very displeased with the large service departments' lack of customer service. I called and left a message with service TWICE and never received a call back in a week.<br><br>Rasmussen has been prompt, and their service department has been very through with helping me solve the problems that I've found under warranty, and my next BMW will come from them.
