My Review of Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison:
I have been buying from this dealership since 1996 (5) vehicles. Service is as advertised (very good). My current buying experience was not a good one at first. I was told by the sales person that they had the car I wanted but after showing up with a scheduled appointment I was told that it was sold (strike 1). No big problem as I had another choice of color and they had that but now I'm waiting as almost an hour as the sale guy is handling floor traffic (strike 2 & 3). As I'm leaving the sales guy asks where I'm going and I give him a few choice words which the sale manager overhears. Make a long story short the sales manager Joe, dealt with me directly through the whole negotioation. I gave them a 3 for prices because of course the dealer will try to make the most profit. It's up to you to know all the numbers MSRP and invoice and read any forums to see what people are paying with rebates if any. I had my numbers with me and we countered each other back and forth for an hour or so. I was very happy with the price and the experience. I only do warrenty service here as all dealers are overpriced in this area. I go to my local service station for the basic stuff (oil, filters, wiper blades) I have had no problem with their warrenty service over the years. Always got a loaner when I had to leave the car. In fact I needed a loaner and I had been looking at a new Infiniti model and they let me take that new model loaner for the weekend. I have bought from another N.J. Infiniti dealer once before as I got a much better price.

My Review of Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison:
The G25x that I leased is mediocre at best, and I have had the same problem with it four times in one year. Most of the vaunted Ray Catena "service excellence" is crap - they can keep their muffins, internet access and lousy coffee...I would rather have them fix the car right the first time. Actually, I would rather they lease me a car that doesn't have the same problem, over and over.

My Review of Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison:
The reputation of Ray Catena has gotten into the heads of the sales and service department employees. Which they speak of top quality service while retain full of attitude and leave much to be expected from the quality of service. I scheduled for 3750 miles service, I was told that it would take an hour and a half. Which took two and a half hour, with one hour waiting for the car to be moved to the car wash. All the while having a service department empolyee telling me to go wait in the waiting area and questions many times if I knew where it was with a resentful attitude, as if I was getting in his way by watching the lack of progress on my car.

My Review of Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison:
I have a 1998 I30, everytime I have needed work done they went out of their way to make the experience as painless as possible. I have had the car for a few years now, once I enter the showroom the salesman who originally sold me the car rushes over to greet me and takes care of alll the arrangements with the service area. I could not possibly overstate how wonderful they are compared to every other dealer.
