Matt Morgan was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly with my Kia Sorento purchase. He was always willing to go the extra mile, and checked different locations and newly received inventory to find the right vehicle for me. He also kept in constant communication, even texting pictures of available vehicles. It was well worth my drive from Bloomington to have such a nice guy help me with my purchase!

Chris Carter did a wonderful job in assisting us with the selection and purchase of our 2012 Buick Enclave. Chris was friendly, patient and supportive through the process. We had many questions regarding the different vehicles and packages; he help us clarify what was most important to us in looking for a new vehicle. My Review of Ray Skillman South Side Auto Center:
We went in to look at a used Kia Sorento that they had on the lot. However, we were comparing it to the Mazda CX-9 that we were going to trade in, but we didn't like the Sorento near as well as the CX-9 that we owned. Nick was going to show us a couple more vehicles that were on the lot, but we stopped to look at the Optima. That is a nice car. At this point, we were confused as to what we were going to do: Keep the CX-9 and trade in another vehicle or what. Although we eventually replaced the CX-9 with a new CX-9 (at another dealership), we wanted to say a few words about Nick. He is a very nice salesman. He is knowledgeable, but he is not a pushy salesman. He showed us everything we wanted to see without trying to get us into something that he wanted. He doesn't smoke (that is important to us), nor was he rude with foul language. If we decide to buy from Skillman again (we have purchased 3 vehicles from Skillman), we will be contacting Nick.

Excellent car buying experience. Salesman, Chris, was easy going, very professional and took the time to explain things. Only negative was the financing process which seemed entirely too long and a bit too high pressure. I did, however, end up with a very good deal.

We recently purchased a Kia Sportage from Ray Skillman. Rance Bagby has went beyond the call of duty to help us. He stayed late when we arrived five minutes before close on a Saturday, he was patient while I changed color of the car he was going to get for us multiple times, and he sent us home in a car to test over night. After the sale, he has been invaluable in dealing with a radio issue in the new car. He has communicated via text and phone on his day off and I couldn't be happier with his help. When he says that he is going to take care of a problem, I believe him!

My Review of Ray Skillman South Side Auto Center:
I HATE going to a dealership when I'm looking at cars. Salesmen in general...upset me. From the moment I pulled into the lot, none of the fears I harbor were realized. Ross came out to greet us and asked if we needed help. Very sincere but not overbearing. Friendly, but I got the impression that it wasn't because he wanted us to buy a car. My wife and I immediately felt at ease with him. Very personable and helpful. Great young man! Through the whole process he and Cory (Corey?) 'behind the desk guy' were extremely friendly, genuine, helpful. They were immediately our friends and that made the whole experience a good one. I honestly have never had as good an experience at any other auto business. I feel fortunate that those two were the ones who helped me. Especially Ross - but only because I dealt with him most. Cory was top notch too. I don't often go out of my way to 'pitch' a business, but I will be happy to refer friends to Ross and Cory. (I apologize if I've consistently misspelled Cory) I feel comfortable with the price I paid for the vehicle as well. I know I got a good deal and I appreciate that.

Great vehicle selection...great pricing...fast and outstanding financing options...and the staff was extremely helpful. I had my car appraised for trade in, financing completed, and deal concluded in 2 hours. HIGHLY recommend!
