i purchased my ford taurus wagon from taft cameron and i have all of my service work done with lee poore. every experience i have had there has been nothing but the best. they get you in and out very quick. the sales experience with taft was also nothing but the best. i would highly recommend anyone to buy their vehicle and have all of their service work done at richmond ford.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
I recently needed a parking lamp assembly and a wiring harness for the my for my 2004 Mustang GT. This car is my prize so I am picky about what I buy and who works on my car. When I arrived at the Richmond Ford Parts counter I was greeted by a very nice man named Ethan. He welcomed me to Richmond Ford and asked how he could be of service to me. His smile and friendliness told me he really wanted to help me. He was not in a hurry to rush me in and out and listened to my story about why I needed the part as he looked up the part in his computer system. He apologized and said he had the lamp assembly but was out of stock on the wiring harness. He assured me that he could order the part and have it there for me the next day.


I was doubtful that he really could have the part the next day and I was sure I would have to call several times but he surprised me. The very next day he called me and told me the part was there and he would look forward to seeing me. I went back to the dealership and Ethan met me with the part in hand. He also suggested that their Quick Lane could install this for me in about 30-45 minutes. I agreed so Ethan called Mr. Taylor and within 45 minutes I was out the door with everything installed and working properly. This was a great experience for me. I plan to continue doing business with Ethan and Richmond Ford for all my future parts and repairs.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
What a transformation! The new owner has completely transformed it!
I have known of the richmond ford dealership for quite some time now, I was in to buy a new car about fifteen years ago and was not at all impressed by what I found, rude salesmen and a shabby place.
BUT I've heard many good things about the dealership lately and have been impressed by their new owner's (Ron Kody) appearences on television and their support of the community, and breast cancer, SPCA and other charities. I was in the market for a new edge and decided to try them out. WHAT A DIFFERENCE, I was greeted immidiately by a polite salesmen, who was not pushy or overbearing, allowed to test drive a car (resulting in 40 dollars to the breast cancer fund) and spent some time learning about the vehicle. The inside of the dealership was impressive with a nwe waiting area, free refreshments, and there was even a place for my (although adorable)quite exciteable four year old to play. And when he attempted to run down a hall he ran directly into Mr. Kody (the owner) Mr. Kody laughed introduced himself to my son and I and was very kind and professional. I wish all car dealers were like this one.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
The last 2 vehicles my husband and I have purchased (a 2008 F-150 and 03 Jeep Liberty)were from Richmond Ford, so when they were BOTH in need of body repair, the natural choice was their body shop. Our truck was keyed from tail light to headlight when it had less than 400 miles on it. The first thing that goes through your head is its not gonna be the same as when you first bought it. We were obviously very upset but were immediately at ease as soon as we walked in the Body Shop office. Everyone in that office, Les, April and Ed specifically, were absolutely wonderful. They explained the process and kept us informed on the status of the repairs. When we picked up the truck, Les came out and went over the entire estimate and went over everything that was done in great detail. The work was beautifully done - you can't even tell the side of the truck has been repainted. A month or so later, my Jeep was hit. When I called to let them know what happened and that I was bringing the Jeep in, the first thing April asked was if everyone was okay and made sure my family wasnt hurt. Again, I felt at ease. Once the insurance company came out and wrote the estimate, Les called and went over the estimate with me and let me know what was going to be done. I was updated regularly with the status and when I picked it up, I was ecstatic. It looked great!!! I must say, everytime you walk in the their door, you are greeted with a smile and treated like famiy. April is a sweetheart, Ed is so very helpful and Les helps you realize that everything is gonna be alright - he takes care of everything. Les, April and Ed took what would generally be a bad experience and made it quite pleasant. I will recommend this shop to anyone and everyone I know.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
We recently purchased a preowned 2007 Explorer from Scott Timberlake at Richmond Ford. The experience was very pleasant. We have 4 children and Scott listened to our needs and found the perfect vehicle for us. We purchased a certified vehicle which came with additional warranty coverage and a really low interest rate. We were able to get, what we consider, new vehicle rates on a preowned vehicle. We couldn't have asked for better service and highly recomend Richmond Ford when you are considering another vehicle.

The service and sales departments are wonderful. I bought my new Edge there and could not have asked for nicer people to work with. I took it in for the first free oil change and to have a part looked at that was broken and the owner personally was in the service department looking at my car. Their customer service is outstanding!

I felt that my sales person was one of those rare professional sales people who helps confused car buyers figure what works best for them. I got a fair price and a vehicle that fits my family.

I especially liked the new owners event, I now know all of Richmond Ford's service people.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
Our new Explorer had some touch up work needed on the roof. More than likely it came from the factory with the defects. Consider the location (roof) they did about as good as anyone could do. We were very disappointed that there what is called over spray on several areas. We also had to go back and get another part for one of the luggage racks covers they damaged. The part held on one of the covers and the cover flew off while going down the road.

My advice is to be sure you check your vehicle out before you leave their location if you have paint work done. I'm not sure if I would ever take our vehicle to them is we had to pay for the work. Right now they would not be my first choice.

My Review of Richmond Ford:
Since I am a female, sometimes it is very intimidating to bring your vehicle in for service or to be diagnosed for a problem. I had a noise in my rear end of my vehicle(Explorer). I called the service dept. and the service manager was extremely helpful and re-assuring.He answered all my questions and was in touch with me at least 2 times to keep me informed as to the status of my auto.I believe the service manager was filling in for an absent advisor? When I picked up my auto he explained in detail everything that was done to my car and recommended my next service appointment for scheduled maintenance. When I left I felt very confident that the problem was fixed with new tires (the noise was from tires that were out of round)
I was treated courteously and I feel very honestly.
