My Review of Riverhead Auto Mall:
I purchased a used vehicle ( 2003 Accord ) after trading my 2001 Sentra in. I was lied to before I began the process. I was told a misleading percentage rate and my car note was off by $10.00 a month. The day I went to pick my vehicle up, I was given blank documents to sign ( my fault-viewers never do this no matter what the dealer saids ). The vehicle was delivered to me filthy ( red stains and dirt stains on the interior of the vehicle, mostly the roof area ). The dash board and interior were not dusted off ( I cleaned that myself with armor all ). The previous owner's insurance card with her address and other info were still in the glove compartment ( but the dealer told me he cleaned the vehicle ). On the way home, I realized that there was no oil change sticker in the window and had to call for that. I decided that since I had to return to the dealer for that, I might as well have someone clean the filth from the interior ceiling area. Just a few days ago I noticed alot of rusting or corrosion around the wheels and tire area on both the passenger and driver's side. When I called, a female in the service dept. of riverhead auto mall told me that it is probably rust and that I could purchase a brake dust cleaner from an auto store, spray it on the rust stains, and hose it off. I went to an auto zone in a nearby area and the clerk that helped me was very nice. He showed me the brake cleaner he had available, but told me the tires and everything would have to be taken apart and that he would not hose it off because the smell is very strong. Upon hearing this, I called back to the service dept. at riverhead auto mall and spoke to a male in service. The service guy told me that it needs to be checked out and set an appt for me to bring it in this coming week. I also noticed before then that the temperature guage inside the vehicle ( next to odometer reading ) is never in between the cold and hot symbols, it leans more towards the cold side. When I called, the salesman that sold me the vehicle told me it is ok. Since I am unsure, I am taking it to be checked out along with the other problem
( corrosion ). I will see how the service department is.

Secondly, A friend of mines called to see about purchasing a vehicle. She was doing a trade in as well. She was given the run around. After taking her credit info, no one called her back to inform her of the status ( supposedly they have 17 credit companies they deal with ). She had to constantly call and call. She just decided to forget about it and go else where.
