About Roberts Auto Center

In 1997 Scott Roberts heard the GM dealership in Pryor,OK was for sale he decided that Pryor was the perfect location to serve NE OK; not only Mayes County,but Claremore, Vinita, Muskogee, Wagoner, Miami, Coweta, Tahlequah and even Tulsa. Pryor is an easy drive from Northwestern Arkansas, Southwestern Missouri and Western Kansas areas. It was a “No-Brainer” as he says when choosing a location to build the car dealership he KNEW he would be proud to own and operate.Roberts Auto Center has been a critical partner within our community since day one. Some examples of our community events are: the Roberts Auto Center Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Sponsor of the Miss Pryor scholarship pageant, Mayes County FFA Premium Auction and Labor Auctions, Rogers County FFA Premium Auction, Delaware County FFA activities, Supporter of the Pryor Academic Excellence Foundation, Chouteau’s CLASS foundation and Locust Grove’s SPICE foundation,Pryor 4-Way Rodeo, Rocklahoma, Country Fever, Bikelahoma, Copperhead Run Rally, in Dec 2009 we held the first ever Junior Pearson Memorial Toy Run to benefit Toys for Tots, presenting sponsor of the Pryor Christmas Parade of Lights, Roberts Auto Center High School Scholarship program is in it’s 9th year, as well as many sporting teams, tournaments and school events. As you can see, if doing business with someone who supports the community in which they are in is important to you, then Roberts Auto Center is THE place to shop! In 2005 Scott further invested in the Pryor area by building a 31,500 square foot facility on 27 acres of land just 2 miles South of our original dealership. Our dealership boasts full sales, service, parts and detail departments that are second to NONE! With a comfy waiting area and a special children’s playroom, waiting while your car is serviced is never a bad experience. Building this state of the art facility enabled us to hire on more people bringing our employee count to around 80.

My Review Of Roberts Auto Center:

My overall experience was good. I had called the dealership early in the week (Tuesday) and spoke with Keli regarding a 2008 Chevy Truck that I found on the Auto Trader website. I asked if the pictures were taken before the vehicle had been detailed. I was assured that the vehicle had been cleaned and no stains remained in the seats. I live in Tahlequah so I called again on Thursday to insure the vehicle was available and clean again. Sheila and Keli both informed be the vehicle was in excellent condition and fully detailed. I made an appointment for friday evening to view the truck. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately by a young man who was very polite. I then informed him that I had an appointment with Keli. She pointed me in the direction of the truck and informed my husband and I that she was finishing up with another customer. So we walked over to the truck to find it had not been cleaned at all and seemed to be parked in the employee area. It was in the exact condition of the photos shown on the Auto Trader website. Keli then brought Jamie Stipes out to meet us and let us know that Jamie would be helping us. She was very polite and understanding. My experience from that point on was excellent. I ultimately purchased the vehicle but requested it be fully detailed before picking it up the next day. Had the vehicle been cleaned before as I was told it would have saved me another 2 hour drive and gas.

My Review Of Roberts Auto Center:

If anyone out there has heard anything good about this dealership, they had to be talking about Claremore Chevy, Jim Glover, or any other dealership besides Roberts. I had the same experience and even worse with 90% of the bad reviews shown on google and yahoo. The only good reviews are the one's from employees. Talk about being crooked this place is. I know 3 salesman that only lasted a few months at Roberts because of the cheating and crooked way they do business. I will never in my life walk in to that place again because of the lies after lies I was told by sales and service. It's hard to have respect for these poeple when they spit in your face on the way out the door. From major service problems in every way to contract problems to dishonesty and disrespect I will recommend going to another dealership that can treat you fairly.

My Review Of Roberts Auto Center:

Jacob Stout and Kory Hodges were very helpful and did their best trying to give us everything we wanted at a price we could afford. We ended up purchasing two cars because of this. We took the truck home on Saturday and on the way home the blinkers quit working so that was a big problem. On Monday we went and picked up the car and on the way home the service air bag lights came on so I'm not sure the checks are getting done correctly. Also when I test drove my car I was told that it would bluetooth to my phone and after getting it home and trying it, it will not. I googled it and found an owners manual for my car and after reading it found out that my car isn't equipped with that feature. I have called Kory this morning and he is trying to figure out a solution so he is very helpful. I worked with Misty and all my problems were taken care of. I would recommend this dealership and would buy from them again.

My Review Of Roberts Auto Center:

I bought a 2009 POntiac G8 paying retail even though it needed tires, work on the brakes and a cracked bumper cover! In December I recieved a Christmas card saying they would pay me 20% above fair market value for my car. They offered me $17000.00 wholesale or auction price of the car. I left immediatly as the salesperson didn't have a clue what to do. I called back to talk to Mr Owens was told he was not in and the person I got was the same person that offered me the low price when I told him I did not want to talk to him because he low balled me on the car he cussed me out! I have called repeatedly to talk to Mr Owens and have been told over and over he is in a meeting or just left, at first I would leave a message but he never calls me back. The last thing I was told he does not have a phone line where I could leave a message.
So far I have found that the cracked bumper cover will cost near $1400 to fix, the tires cost me $1200 and the brakes I fixed myself for $100.00.
I turned this business into the BBB to no satisfaction!!
I also bought a warranty and auto perfect through this dealer however besides of the distance, I would not trust my car to this dealer for repair of any sort!

My Review Of Roberts Auto Center:

The car was not ready when we drove two plus hours to pick it up and do business. Furthermore, one of the salesmen had taken it home, or beyond, a two hour drive out. We had to wait on that. Then we had to wait for them to do paperwork, that come the following Monday, was still not completed and they had to send a driver out with new paperwork to our home to sign. They were unprofessional and did not have anything together, and I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from this dealer.
