My Review of Roebuck Honda:
APPARENTLY I SHOULDVE READ THE OTHER REPORTS ON HERE BEFORE WASTING MY TIME AT BRANNON HONDA. IT TRUELY IS THE MOST OVERPRICED HONDA DEALERSHIP LOCALLY. I WENT THINKING I COULD EASILY BUY AN ACCORD OR CIVIC FOR A FAIR PRICE BUT UNLESS YOU THINK 2K MORE THAN STICKER OUT THE DOOR IS A GOOD PRICE THEN YOU SHOULD NEVER GO TO BRANNON!
BUYER BEWARE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT BRANNON.....AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME THINKING THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH WILL HELP BECAUSE IT WONT.

My Review of Roebuck Honda:
After hearing an advertisement about a Memorial Day weekend sale at Brannon Honda in Roebuck, Alabama, my wife and I decided to take a trip over there to check out the 2006 Honda Ridgeline. While we were very impressed with the
Ridgeline, we were not very impressed with the treatment we received from the folks at Brannon Honda, especially Mr. Ben Brannon himself. After spending nearly all day Saturday shopping for the Ridgeline there and then dealing with the salesperson, Ben Brannon gave us his final offer which we decided to leave and think about for while. My wife and I enjoyed the truck so much that we decided to go back to Brannon Honda on Sunday and even carry my in-laws to see the truck. After looking over the truck we once again stepped inside to discuss some prices. First of all the price that they now offered us was not the price that they had told us on Saturday was the "out the door" price. Ben Brannon's excuse was that the number he gave us on Saturday was a 'before tax price" and that selling the truck at the price he originally gave us "out the door" on Saturday is crazy. They asked me to name them a offer, and after doing so the salesman first called me a thief, but the response from Ben Brannon would strike even harder. Ben Brannon would go on to tell me that they sold 20 something vehicles on Saturday and that I was not one of those customers and that I had wasted his time! Well one thing is for sure, I will never "waste" another minute of his precious time and neither will anyone that I know if I can help it. If he had really cared about me "the customer" then he would have made a counter offer instead of insulting me and my wife because believe me, we were the ones who truly wasted our whole weekend. Furthermore, on Monday I was able to find two other Honda dealers in Alabama that beat Ben Brannon's price, one of which beat it by nearly one-thousand dollars, and neither dealership treated me disrespectfully when they heard my offer. I love the Ridgeline from Honda, and I would tell anyone to test it out, but I would advise everyone not to "waste" the time of "Mr. Cocky" Ben Brannon and Brannon Honda in Roebuck, Alabama, I know I never will again.

My Review of Roebuck Honda:
I have never had a car buying experience as pleasant as my experience with Brannon Honda (formerly Robuck Honda). When I went in to test drive the car I was interested in buying (2006 Civic), the sales person was Jerald Connolly. He was helpful, not at all pushy - just the facts. I called all of the dealers in the area to request their bottom line price. Some gave me a quote, and some wanted me to come in to discuss a price (same old hassle). Over the phone Brannon gave me the best price and honored it when I bought the car. The financing people helped me with my financing options (again over the phone). These are honest, straight-forward folks. I recommend them hightly.

My Review of Roebuck Honda:
I bought my car from Tameron and purchased the extended warranty with it. I've suspected for at least a year now that there were transmission problems with the car, but everytime I took it into Tameron, I was told there were no problems, they just took my money for the diagnostic test. I knew better, and I knew that when my warranty ran out they were going to be able to find the problem and stick me with the bill. After 4 attempts to get them to fix the problem, I took it across town to Roebuck and within 4 hours they had found 4 major things wrong with the car - 2 of which were covered under warranty - including the transmission. It is being fixed as we speak, and we are still deciding on how to handle the situation with Tameron.

My Review of Roebuck Honda:
Obtaining professional interaction with personnel has proven difficult, even combative at times. I'm a young guy in my 20's and I feel as if I'm being talked down to by some of the staff, I actually feel some of this stems from jealousy over me being so young and owning this car. I will say the exception is Mr. Ed Dyer whom I hold in the highest esteem.

My first oil change with them resulted in a overfill which I learned of on the highway after engaging vtec. Thick smoke poured from the tailpipes and could have blinded any motorists behind me. Took the car back to the dealership and learned a new employee had done the fill on my car. Oil was then changed out and levelled correctly.

After doing my changes exclusively with this dealer at around 20k miles I did my first oil change at home. Unscrewing the drain plug from the aluminum oil pan I found the threads in the pan were severely stripped out, this could have only occured at the dealer during oil changes. Upon performing the change I realized the plug screw threads could barely get enough "bite" within the plug socket. As far as I was concerned this issue was a ticking time bomb I was never informed of. I took the car to the dealer service dept and inquired into the issue. I was told "aluminum oil pans can strip out easy". I asked about getting a new oil pan and was blown off completely..... I ended up replacing my pan out of pocket on down the road.
