My Review of Rosen Hyundai of Algonquin:
After having what seemed like a great experience with Jon - no hassle, fantastic price (the reason I made the 40-mile trip), they were to order my car to come in 2-3 weeks, up to 4-6.
Three weeks later, Jason calls me and tells me they can't find my car, and Jon's no longer with them. I ask them to keep looking, and Jason never calls me back after saying he would. He also doesn't return my calls. A week later I finally get in touch with him, and he passes me on to the Sales manager.
The sales manager says it's appalling that I have been dealt with that way, and that he'll try to get the car, and he's going to handle me from now on and will call me back the next day.
Two weeks pass and I never hear from him. Finally I call Hyundai's corporate headquarters to find about the color I want, they finally patch me through to Tony, the new internet sales manager. After a week, Tony finally says he can order me a car, but it's blue (I wanted purple) with leather (I wanted cloth) and without bluetooth (I wanted bluetooth) for $500 more than my original quote. "Oh the bluetooth, well, I wanted to get you the cheapest car I could..."
Completely unhelpful, kept jerking me around on the price - he would say one price on the phone and then e-mail me another (even though I had written down the price so I knew it was wrong) - it was completely outrageous. I finally bought my car NO-HASSLE from Ettleson.
