My Review of Rosenthal Nissan Mazda:
I purchased a 2004 Mazda RX-8 from this dealership. The sales experience was not bad at all. I received two free years of oil changes with my purchase. What I didn't know at the time was that at every oil change they would discover something new "wrong" with my car that they would charge an exorbitant price for to repair.
I also brought my vehicle in one day and walked up the street to have lunch. On the way walking back, I noticed a worker from the dealership parked at a Shell gas station. I asked what he was doing, and he spoke no English. I asked for a ride back to the dealership and he said no. He finally acquiesced when I produced my police identification. Upon returning to the dealership I found out that he was a wash-bay worker and he was washing the car and took MY car to the gas station to get his friend some food. The dealership gave their standard apologies but still did nothing to offer me any sort of compensation.
My car also had defective brake pads that squealed for over a year. In the beginning it was winter time, and I was advised on each occasion that the squealing was due to the noise. After the weather warmed up, the squealing was still there. Yet when I asked for them to repair them, they stated that it was now past the warranty period and they denied that I had ever mentioned anything DURING the warranty period. I would have had my service manager back me up, but since this service department has such a high turnover rate, that was not possible. I have had five different service managers over the course of the two years I owned the car. It is no surprise that with the level of customer dissatisfaction that employees can't hold a job there.
I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau to no avail. I finally sold of the car last month and couldn't be happier now.
