My Review of Rothrock Chevrolet:
We negotiated over e-mail, and received a convoluted price (total including rebates, trade, etc). After we arrived at the dealership, all of a sudden, they can't find Julian's e-mail. Fortunately, I had a copy of it. We thought we had a deal after we test drove the car and went back into the dealership. Then Bobby Jones comes out (Sales Manager), most arrogant and stupid individual I have ever met. I hated this guy within 5 seconds. He started throwing numbers out there (again all inclusive), I tried to figure a breakdown and he actually said go somewhere else if you think you can get a better deal. Needless to say, we did get a better deal, and not only that, Rothrock was trying to steal from us by keeping an additional $500.00 rebate that we eligible for. That's probably why they were doing the smoke and mirrors deal with only talking about the final amount due to them and not breaking everything down for us.
AVOID this dealer at all cost. Shifty, Liars, and the Sales Manager (Bobby Jones) is like a typical used car salesman. He'd steal the lollipop from your kids mouth if you don't watch out.
