We had visited several dealerships looking to purchase a mustang. Went to S&L Motors to test drive a Boss Mustang that was priced very reasonably. We were greeted promptly by Jacob, who was very friendly and helpful. When we got back from the test drive, we told Jacob that it was not quite what we wanted. He asked me to sit in the Dodge Challenger, and showed me some of the features. We took the Challenger SRT8 for a short drive and really liked the car. The next week Jacob allowed us to take the vehicle home for the day so we could really look it over, which was very helpful. We started negotiating for a fair price with a trade in vehicle and fixing a couple minor things on the Challenger. They were not able to fix the Challenger before we picked it up so we had to bring it back for the repair. Over all it was a good experience and we would definitely see Jacob in the future.

Bob and Frank are great people to work with. They are very professional and listen to what you want in a vehicle and present you with the best option based on what you are looking for. S&L is a great dealership all the employees (except for one guy and I wish I would of gotten his name) are friendly and polite.

PURCHASED A NEW VEHICLE, HAD TROUBLBE WITH ENGINE, GREG AND HIS TEAM BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO NOT ONLY FIX THE PROBLEMS, BUT ALLOWED ME TO USE SERVICE RENTAL AND THEN ASSISTED IN GETTING ME INTO AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. ALL IN ALL VERY HAPPY!

I dealt with John And Greg on a new Dodge Durango both are great people to deal with. I would Highly recommend this dealership if looking for a vehicle. Julie in service is very good to deal with also seeing we had our 2008 Pacifica in at the time being service which we ended up trading on a new 2012 Dodge Durango Crew. All were very knowledgeable of the products sold. It was a very smooth transaction with the purchase of a new dodge durango. After purchasing my slightly used Toyota Highlander SUV from S/L, I waited almost two months to post this review. Why? Just to ensure they kept up on any post sales issues. Nothing worse than writing a stellar review, to have an issue weeks later and no one to assist.
Well......
LOOKING AT A CAR:
LOVED my SUV. Got a GREAT deal. Worked with Dan - VERY responsive to questions - answered phone or called back in a VERY timely manner. Very knowledgable on the car, the price, gave me Carfax, was overall pleased as punch.
THE SALE:
Worked with Dan. Not high pressure. Got a good deal, I really shopped from Green Bay to Fond du Lac looking for pretty specific stuff. Thought Bergstrom would be the one to win my business, but no.....S/L BEAT THEIR PRICE and I actually liked that Dan was not the slick sales type you see at Bergstrom. He seems to be a regular guy that sells cars. No pressure.
DAY OF SALE
Car was ready as promised. They worked VERY hard to get the best financing (1.9% on a USED CAR). I only went with my bank because they beat their financing - but hey.....1.9% is GREAT!
I went with the extended service plan - glad I did. No, I haev NOT had issues. But for $1600 I have four years of bumper to bumper coverage - it is insurance and peace of mind.
FINAL SUMMARY:
S/L is out of the way. It is not in a convenient locale. But, the drive was ABSOLUTELY worth it. Had a slight problem with the extended warranty, they corrected it IMMEDIATELY. I was VERY happy with this experience. Would highly recommend S/L and Dan.

Bought a used vehicle from what I thought was a reputable dealership to avoid headaches. I figure they check the vehicles out before they sell them... that's what the sticker said. I pull off the lot after buying it and although I am a woman I notice a clunking sound as I"m driving down the road... took it back the next day... was told it was a bad sway bar and bushings (sure they checked the vehicle) a month later... bad alternator $660 job! Sales rep tried but couldn't do anything for me. They at least fixed the sway bar and bushings for nothing but this should have been noticed by the mechanics upon inspection not a female buyer? Also break pads were seizing up had breakdust like crazy on my rims... they checked.."no they don't see anything wrong"... go to Midas the same day.. was told break pads will seize if sitting for a while...(sales rep confirmed it was on the lot for 3 months) their mechanics missed that too! The only thing they gave me was 3 free oil changes after almost $800 worth of repairs in about a month of owning it!! Oh and the radio "I noticed" was messed up when I purchased the vehicle too.. they missed that as well... they are going to find me a used one out of another vehicle... how nice of them...

I have bought two trucks from Lucas this year. He listened to my needs and went way out of his way to get me great prices even with our two trades. The amount of trucks that they keep in stock was imppressive. Even after the sale they have answered questions for me promptly and completly. I will be going back to S&L as long as they continue the good service and great prices. Lucas is the most knowledgeable truck guy I have met in quite a few years, I needed alot of towing specs and reasons why, he came thru for me and I apreciate that.
