My Review of Sansones Nissan Route 66:
Salesman very friendly and tried to do all he could to help me find a car. The manager, however were horrible. They gave you one price one day and another price the next day. They lie, lie, lie. When I didn't like the way the deal was going, I asked for my trade in car back and they told me they sold it. They will do anything to sell a car. I left in tears and had a horrible experience with them. I should have called the police to get my car back. Mr Sansone is running a horrible dealership. This was approximately a year ago. I like Nissan cars but would never, ever go back to that dealership. This time I went to Freehold Nissan and was very pleased with the service.

AS SOON AS I PULLED INTO THE LOT I WAS GREETED WITH A SMILE AND FRIENDLY WAVE BY WAYNE. USUALLY THE PRESSURE YOU RIGHT AWAY AND FOLLOW YOU . WAYNE DID NONE OF THAT I LOOKED AROUND, SHOWED HIM THE VEHICLE I WAS INTERESTED IN AND HE AND HIS ASSOCIATES WENT TO WORK TO MAKE SURE I DROVE IT HOME. THE FINANCING WAS MADE TO MY AFFORDABILITY AND THEY WERE GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR A VEHICLE TO GO THERE FIRST.IT WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE(UNUSUAL FOR CAR SHOPPING) LOL IT MAY JUST BE THE ONLY PLACE YOU WILL NEED TO GO. THANKS

My Review of Sansones Nissan Route 66:
Steve Lanman, the sales person is a great guy. However, the managers Paul and Mark.. don't know their last names, are uncivil conmans. Long story short, I had to get the local police involved to get my money back.
The guy told nothing, but lies and luckily for me the cop could clearly see the situation and even he felt that the managers were lairs. So if you are in for, he how the scenario unfolded: I went in and negotiated a 2008 Maxima lease based on a nationally advertised program. The guy had showed me that he had reduced the down payment from 2999 to 2300. To start the application, I had paid him 1550/-. However, when I got home and since I had signed any contract and did not have the lease agreement, and .. I will finish the story later.. got to run some place.

Apologies for the grammatical errors. I thought, I could do it in few minutes.
Nevertheless, here's the moral of the story:
Never trust these guys and even if you do, don't pay them a single penny, until everything is in front of you, including typed up contract.
Long Story:
So I had paid them $1550/- on Monday based on a negotiated price, which was to be applied to my lease agreement. [Yes, I know the biggest mistake while buying a car]. There was no talk about a security deposit or anything similar to secure the "deal". Then, I walked in on Wednesday to close the deal, but got run around on various things. Hence, I decided to not take the deal and wanted my money back. This was because of some of the shady stuff I had unearthed within the stipulated contract.
This is when the managers came down on me stating how unreasonable I was and how because of me... blah blah blah. I told them that I was very aware of the human dynamics and some of the coercive tactics and that I was not going to cower. Then one of the managers said that he was not going to refund my money. I called the cop, my bank and Visa. The cop came in and told me that he thought the managers were shady and the best thing is to get as much of the money as possible and then start formal dispute proceedings with the bank. He also advised me to log a compliant with the consumer affairs.

My Review of Sansones Nissan Route 66:
I took my Nissan Altima there for 3 service visits because the shifter was sticking in park. They told me I needed a new shifter. They charged me $280 to replace the shifter and 3 visits later, I am still using a screwdriver to get my car out of park. The service manager later told me it would cost me an additional $500+ dollars to complete the job because "he thought he could get away with replacing one part"
He clearly told me that he had replaced the shifter - he did not.
I think that they were dishonest and disrespectful in their unwillingness to take responsibility for their inability to diagnose and fix the problem. I would not recommend this service department.
