My Review of Santa Cruz Nissan Dodge Volkswagen:
I had been having a problem with back lights. The symbol on the dash would go on and off. This made it difficult to know which light was out. The first time I came and talked about what was going on I was given an appointment. When I came in the symbol was out. Scott who was my salesman when I brought the car was outside when I pulled up. We talked about the light problem. He went in and talked with service and it was decided that the next time the symbol came on to leave the car running and check all lights. I was in town when it happened again so I drove to your service department. I told Eric what was happening and he had the service department fix the problem immediatly. I didn't have to return with a appointment. I would have made a appointment but Eric just made sure it was done now. I had 2 lights out. Eric and Scott did a great job taking care of my situation. Great customer service! And my car had been washed. That was a nice surprise.

I really enjoyed working with Brent Fetty on the purchase of my new Golf. He made the process so easy and quickly found me what I was looking for. He is what a car salesman should be - pleasant to deal with, excellent knowledge of the cars, not pushy like some can be... I would highly recommend to anyone coming to your dealership to go directly to him!

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. My service was done in a timely manor and on the occasions where my car is needed for a day or two, the service manager is nice enough to let me use a rental car.

My Review of Santa Cruz Nissan Dodge Volkswagen:
Written two e mails with each having one question to Internet Manager Scott Davis. Never received a reply to answer ether question/email but a email introducing himself and to call him direct to sit up payment options. So I called and got Scotts voice mail and left a message to call me in which he did return my call quickly. Talking to him, I had asked him the same questions I had written him about. One question was "what is the size of the tires on car" He didnt know and seemed a bit like he was going out of way when I ask if he could check. He said he would check and call me back. Just a few min. later Scott called back with the size. I explained to him why the size of tires were important to me plus along with mentioning a few other things but his lack of responce made me feel like he was not interested at all.So I moved on in asking a few more things about the car in which he answered. I then asked him how close to $3000.00 could he come in the price of the car(They were asking $3995.00, more then highest retail sales value according to KBB). He responded in a awkward tone and said that they are already at $3995.00 (96 buick custom with 95000 miles). He said he would talk with his boss and return my call. Next day comes and still no reply. Called several times to only receive his voice mail in which I ask him to call back. Still no reply so I called the sales manager Jim in which I was asked to hold for him only to get his voice mail. Jim called back about 45 mins. later and I explained that I had dealt with Scott but have not received a responce and asked if he had the time to help me in which he said sure. He asked what car we were talking about and I told him and asked about the price they were asking for the car in which his reply was "Heres Scott", so Scott got on the phone and said he was sorry for not getting back with me. We started talking about the price of the car and he said that his boss said they can not reduced the price of the car. I explained to him that the asking price is even higher than "Excellant Value" pricing on KBB. His responce was that he knows but these kind of cars sale and they just have no room to deal in this car...........To me this is an example of, its not about the customer but about the money and if you dont want to shell out full asking price for a car that dosnt meet the value rating on KBB than your not worth returning a call to. I understand business is business and all are in it for a profit as should be but to be bold enough to take advantage of someone who is willing to pay more than the cars worth is POOR Business Practice.

I really enjoyed my car buying experience with Scott Davis. He was very low pressure, yet definitely interested in helping me find exactly what I wanted. I never felt he was saying things about the cars that were designed to push me a certain way. He was enthusiastic about the good features of the cars, absolutely, yet honest when I asked him questions about things that might be not so great about the car. He was patient and relaxed. What more could you ask for? This is my second VW Passat from this dealer; I purchased my first one from them in 2003 and had it all this time. I have experience with their service department therefore and I have to also recommend Eric Howard. He is an honest and helpful service manager.

I feel that I can trust these people to do what needs to be done and that I am paying a fair rate for the work done. I am always treated well and my car always runs perfectly after the work is done. I want these people working on my car and my children's cars for as long as we leave in Santa Cruz. I never worry that I am being pushed to get unnecessary work done, which I often felt at some of the other places I have taken the wagen to.

My Review of Santa Cruz Nissan Dodge Volkswagen:
I was looking for a new truck and I was going to check Toyota but Nissan was closer so I stopped there first. Jeff showed me the two new Frontiers they had and explained the deals they were offering as well as all the features the trucks offer. I did check Toyota but decided on the Nissan. Jeff was very helpful and explained all the features on the truck before I left the dealership. He followed up with a call a couple days later to make sure everything was going well and informed me to call him anytime if I had any issues.

Friendly and knowledgable staff and good deals are why I can recommend Jeff and Santa Cruz Nissan.

This is my second vehicle purchased from this dealership and if I decide to by another Volkswagen it will be again from the Santa Cruz Superstore. In 2005 I purchased over the internet Touareg V8 and that transaction was handled by Steve Pangelina Internet and Fleet Manager at that time - I just loved the way I was treated and handled by him, Steve became my friend and I keep in touch with him to this day.
Two or three weeks ago I found on line nice 2009 Tiguan that was offered for sale in this dealership and I sent an email to get more information about this car, Scott Davis responded and gave me "Black Friday" price that I could not refuse. I drove to Santa Cruz and I met with him and test drove the car... I was very happy with the test drive and the condition of this vehicle. Scott took me to his office (same room that Steve Pangelina was in few years ago), we filled out all the papers and then he went to his sales manager (I think his name is Jim) for approval. Sitting in Scott's office I heard Jim talking loudly to Scott that this car is worth $3000.00 more and that they just had this car for a few days - I think that was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, no customer should hear that, especially that this price was authorized by another manager day before!
Scott made my day, sold me a car that I wanted and gave me a price that I could only dream of, he was very nice, pleasant and professional.

This dealership is the best I have purchased 4 new cars from them, they are always helpful in finding just what I am looking for. I purchased a new Murano on 11/18/11 and the salesman Brett financeman Scott and even the owner Jim stayed past closing to make sure I could have my car before the weekend, you don't get that kind of service any where else in Santa Cruz. I highly recommend them to friends and family. The salesman Brett even called us on sunday to make sure everything was ok with the car.
