My Review of Savage Hyundai:
I have only bought two new cars in my life, both from Savage Hyundai. My first car was an Accent, it took more than 2 hours to settle and buy the car. THEN we found out it has a cracked head gasket. We bought this car BRAND NEW. Then the odometer blew out. SOO, time to trade it in 2 years later. They assure me that this was just manufacturers defects on the car, and I was the unfortunate one to get the "lemon." Urg...I traded it in like a fool and got another Hyundai, an Elantra. This time, the engine light comes on, the Speedometer stops working, and the brakes were down to the squealer by 28000 miles, August 2006. They replaced by brake pads with the ones I bought somewhere else, and guess what? The brakes would not stop the car when I left after they performed the service. So when I finally make it home, I call them and they ask me to come back. I get there, we drive the car together with the service manager, and she says it's the "Cheap" brake pads. We can leave them on and not be able to stop right, or we can buy SURPRISE SURPRISE Hyundai pads. So we buy Hyundai pads and go to return the pads we bought at the auto parts store. The guy there says he has never heard that ever happen before, he says 'I bet you they didn't bleed the brake lines.' They let us return the pads and they give us a refund. After that, 2 other separate people tell us 'They must not have bled the brake lines.' NOW we are wondering, were we sheisted?

Do not go to this dealership. They are awful in not only service, but in telling the truth. THEY LIE TO YOU. ANYTHING TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR, WORSE THAN THE NORMAL CAR SALESMAN.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, not SAVAGE.

My Review of Savage Hyundai:
Will not recommend the dealership for service. The service writers are very competent and friendly. I took my Santa Fe in for 45,000 mile maintenance and they asked if they could also change the oil. Sure why not!

About 3,000 miles later, I went to another place to get my oil changed. There was ONE quart of oil in the car. We checked the exhaust and there was no oil burn. We checked the filter and there were no leaks and it was a dealer installed filter (blue). They changed my oil and added just enough so that my Oil Pressure light did not come on!

Buy from them anytime but go somewhere else for service!

My Review of Savage Hyundai:
I went to Savage Hyundai looking to buy a 2004 Hyundai Elantra GLS. When I arrived at the dealership, my salesman was extremely knowledgeable when explaining the car and its features. The test drive went well. However, when it came time to buy the Elantra, problems began. First, the MSRP on the window sticker of the Elantra was $14,099. Somehow the price skyrocketed to $16,800 with no taxes or tags included. I asked the reason for the increase, and the salesman did not clearly tell me an answer. Something about dealership fees, but I've never seen dealership fee increase the price almost $3000. I told the dealership that the price was too high. When they discovered I was not going to buy the vehicle, their attitude automatically changed and were not kind and polite as they had been. I left confidently, knowing I could find a better deal elsewhere.
