My Review of Simi Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
I bought my wrangler from another dealer, but serviced in Simi as it was close to home. They are always friendly and helpful and smiling, but on closer evaluation, we found they were at best negligent, and at worst -well- you decide. Took wrangler there for all regular scheduled maintenance. But didn't really look at it when I got it back. (Hey- I'm a girl. What did you expect?)
I need my car for work, so I wanted to drop off for maintenence while I was out of town. They had said they needed parts, so I didn't leave it, and asked them to order the parts and I would bring it back. I gave them 4 weeks. I called 2 weeks ahead of time and reminded them that I wanted to bring it in...so order the part. I called again a week ahead and told them to order. I called before I came in and said make sure you have the part. I brought it in, and left on vacation. I came back and they had done nothing. They said they didn't have the part. I was furious because I gave them several days and they had done nothing. I talked to the service manager and voiced my displeasure. He said they would order the part and call me. When they called, I arranged to bring it in. They kept it for two days. They were supposed to be doing full service on it - lube - alignment- tune up- etc. When we got it back... now my husband is involved. He looked at it. They hadn't done hardly any of the service contracted for. He went back with me. We talked to the service manager and pointed out the dry joints with millions of miles of road crud on them and then the lack of any new lubricant, and they just shrugged and said they must have forgot - and there was a new guy- and they didn't check his work. We left it again, and they still didn't do all the little stuff that they SAY they do, but they did at least lube. My husband sent pictures to Chrysler corporation and the response was that all dealerships are franchises and they really didn't have control over them. I will never take another vehicle to them again. Later I found a sign in a local restaurant that said "Don't get ripped off like I did at Simi Valley Jeep". Wish I'd seen it sooner. I haven't gone back in two years.
