We have been loyal Honda customers for years. Yet, I wanted a Hybrid to replace my CRV. Honda does not make a hybrid CRV. I fell in love with the Rav4 Hybrid. It handled well and was comfortable for my very short stature! The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The car came with everything I wanted. Tim Kelly answered all of our questions.
"Pathetic Service and arrogant behavior"
I don't even want to give them 1 star. Pathetic service I have ever experienced in my life.I gave my car for service as it gave engine check notifications, l had purchased extended warranty and it was a brand new 2016 corolla bought in Jun 2016 bought from the same dealer- Toyota Sloane glenside.
I gave it for servicing, and called minimum thrice in a day to know about the status, service representative was very rude and arrogant, he did not answer anything about the car status, he did not even bother to answer what happened to car, I was worried and contacted Toyota USA and told them entire story they said they cannot do anything as I am having dealer warranty , after 3 minutes I got a call from dealer service center and they told that I filled diesel in my car hence engine broke down, they also mentioned that it's my mistake and hence it cannot be covered in extended warranty, they also told that it would cost $700 to clean the fuel tank.
First of all I always refill fuel from sams club which do not sell diesel so there was not even a single chance that I unknowingly filled diesel in my car. I told it to them clearly but they did not listen and continued telling same investigation.
On day 2, I called them again and told that I would go for second opinion, after few minutes I got a call back from them stating that it was not fuel issue but rodent has damaged the wire harness and it would cost $350 to fix it.
How can you have 2 different investigations within 2 days time. One thing I learned is they try to fool you by giving different reasons , they just want to charge more money and unnecessarily put the service cost on customer
Please be alert before going to this dealer.l would strongly not recommend it.

I have been a Sloane customer for 20 plus years, and have always had a great experience with everybody connected to the dealership. I even bought a truck I really had no intention on buying, because Tim Kelly was such a good salesman. I feel like I've known him forever; even though we just met.
