My Review of Smothers European:
Didn't even fix the problem. Took the car in 1st time. 3 months later<br>took the car in and they blamed the rain on the problem. They charged to fix the same part twice (said Mercedes wouldn't waranty the part since it was wet. Returned the car only to get the same problem again. Picked up the car after they told me it fixed, got the problem immediately. Took the car back only to get a $1500.00 estimate (actually the wiring harness on Mercedes autos rots after 100K but Mercedes or Smothers won't admitt to it. I finally gave up<br>to realize that they couldn't fix the car. They in turn stated that the<br>car is too old to fix. Mercedes is the most arogant car company in the world. Their cars are electrical nightmares!

My Review of Smothers European:
The worst service center of all. We had to go back three times to fix the air conditioning which refused to cool down. They never fixed it, and we had to pay for the freon charge each time. Finally found another mechanic who found THREE leaks in the air conditioning system and fixed it. <br><br>Now we've been back there 3 times to get a diesel leak fixed. First time was two years ago. Then the same problem showed up last week. They found a gazillion other things that were &quot;wrong&quot; with the car and charged us several thousand bucks. Three days later, we're back because diesel was still leaking and there was a puddle in the garage. On my way home, I started to hear these horrendous noises in the back of the car (like driving over potholes). Turns out there was something wrong with the vacuum seal or something. I almost choked when they wondered how that could have passed &quot;quality control.&quot; I think it's presumptuous of them to think they have any quality control at all!<br><br>This entire experience has soured me with Mercedes Benz. I don't think they're worth half the money you pay for their cars.

My Review of Smothers European:
Typical slimey slippery sales tactics one would expect at a used car corner lot, rather than a MB dealer. After being told there was just one left in the entire state of the particular model I was looking for, another MB dealer found 3 (three) of them available at the MB Vehicle Distr. Center. After I cancelled the deal there where feeble attempts at intimidation and invoking guilt on my part. Please!!! All in all the experience left too many question marks in my mind to be comfortable buying from Smothers.
