My Review of Smythe Volvo Inc.:
A top notch experience for me. They answered the phone on the second ring, set me up with an appointment in three minutes. On the day of my service the price they quoted me was the price I was charged and as I had previously compared them to other dealers in the area I did well. My last car, which wasn't a Volvo, was a rough experience trying to get it serviced. I can't say enough good things about Smythe Volvo.

My Review of Smythe Volvo Inc.:
I've been using Smythe Volvo for two years since we moved into the area. From my first phone call two years ago to now I always have been treated like I was a customer for twenty years. The lease on my current Volvo is up in a few months and I'll be stopping in to buy a new Volvo soley because of the service department. They really have something special at Smythe Volvo.

New to Volvo, last car was a BMW 535i. This dealership actually treats you like a person, not just someone with a car problem. Service has never let me down and I know they always go the extra mile. Would highly recommend them for service and feel very comfortable when I am there.

Steve was extremely helpful in purchasing my 2010 Volvo S40 from Smythe. I previously purchased a Volvo a few years ago and was so happy the service that I received. I had no doubts in purchasing another new Volvo from Smythe. Steve was very accommodating to my family and me. Since I am taking graduate classes after work, I couldn't get to the dealership until 8:00pm. Steve waited for me when I was interested in purchasing my car. He also spent time familiarizing me with my new Volvo and set up the Bluetooth technology. Compared to other car dealerships, Smythe makes buying a car comfortable and enjoyable! I would absolutely recommend Smythe Volvo.

My Review of Smythe Volvo Inc.:
I had never purchased a Volvo before. All of my cars had been BMW's or Mercedes in the past. One of my co-workers had just purchased a Volvo and really liked it, so I decided to give Volvo a look. My co-worker had purchased their car from Smythe Volvo in Summit and was very happy with the experience, so I decided to look there.
Needless to say, I now own a Volvo XC60T6. The car is everything that the BMW X3 is plus much more. The price is lower and the car has more equipment than the BMer (and looks cooler too). Throw in the free maintanence for 5 years and you can't beat the value that Volvo is offering.
The dealership and my salesman, Tom, was great. I am used to talking to a salesman, then a manager, then another manager and so on. The process usually is high pressure and takes hours. I hate that and told Tom how I felt. He said that he would be the only person that I would dealt with from start to finish. I didn't really believe him, but much to my relief it was true! Tom was great. He got me in and out in a timely manner. I haven't had to service my car yet, but being only 2 blocks from the Midtown Direct train line, service will be easy. I was offerred loaners on my service walk through, but I shouldn't need it.
I didn't think that dealerships like Smythe still existed. They are friendly, knowledgeable and straight forward. I felt like they helped me to buy my car, rather than selling me one.

I feel compelled to tell people about Smythe Volvo. They really are the best I've ever delt with. My salesman, Craig Melquist, Gave me the straight stuff. I didn't feel the need to put my gaurd up at all. I thought maybe it was a fluke but when I took my car in for service months later I realized it was no fluke. I delt with Tony in the service department and he was a real pro. They run a good business and I highly recommend them.

My Review of Smythe Volvo Inc.:
I have bought many cars over the years. I usually find the experience to be annoying at best, especially when they make me sit with the guy trying to upsell me everything under the sun. I really hate that. I was in need of a car for my son who just turned 17. I wanted a safe car and my neighbor had bought cars from Smythe Volvo in the past. I stopped by last week and met with Steve. He was extremely knowledgeable, courtious, and best of all, not pushy. He showed me what he had in inventory and helped me select a couple cars that met my needs. After driving each car and discussing the price, he did something that I have not had done before. He said I should take my time and think about the purchase. WOW! Usually I have the full court press by this time. I took his advise and went home. I decided on the right car and picked it up yesterday. The car was clean, inside and out, and everything went smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Smythe Volvo.

My Review of Smythe Volvo Inc.:
I have been with Smythe for 4 cars now and couldn't be happier. They have been the best in both service and sales. My experiences with other car dealerships have always driven me back to Smythe. The service advisors are extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile when it is needed. The proximity to the Midtown Direct (2 blocks) train is really convenient. The sales department is very low pressure and I like that you deal with one person (my guy is Craig) from start to finish. When I bought my last Non-Volvo I spent 2 hours in the Finance Managers office as he tried to sell me everything under the sun. You won't find this at Smythe. One Salesperson from start to finish. It is truly run as a family owned business. I highly recommend Smythe Volvo! You guys are the best!
