My Review of Southpointe BMW:
I have leased 2 new cars from Southpointe BMW in Sarasota, and the experience was wonderful. Mr Seymour went out of his way to help me find the cars I wanted. He then gave me an exceptionally generous trade in on my other cars as well as irresistible financing. At no point in time did I feel pressured or dealt with with anything less than absolute fairness.

My Review of Southpointe BMW:
I just took my '03 325 in for service. The transmission was kicking, two of the trim pieces around the door frames had fallen off or were about to fall off and let water in, the passenger's window had a bad regulator and the wheels were out of alignment.<br><br>On the bad side, we bought the car in Oct. and all of these issues were evident by the time we got home (2 hours away). This car supposedly had a CPO inspection just prior to delivery!!! Funny though... the guy who sold us the car no longer works there?!?!?<br><br>On the good side, Bruce (my SA) took our appointment (one month in advance unfortunately) and guaranteed us a loaner car (nice new X3). The car was ready in two days instead of one since they had to order one of the trim pieces, but I also added a couple of last minute issues on the second day that I had forgot to mention on the first. Even through my forgetfulness and general ignorance of mechanical workings Bruce was very friendly and helpful.

My Review of Southpointe BMW:
It took 22 hours to return my car from service after I was told it was ready and I arrived to pick it up. They claimed they had missplaced the key, but do not worry it had to be around here someplace. Some hours later they called and said they had found the key and asked to deliver the car first thing in the morning. After waiting all morning I called them at 11:45 AM. I got my car back at 12:30 PM, about 48 hours after dropping it off and about 24 hours after service was completed.

My Review of Southpointe BMW:
After moving to a new and larger facility, this dealership has slipped dramatically. Service is abominable! A few months ago when I went in for oil service, there was no record of my appointment. After that was straightened out, the promised 30 minute service took an extra hour when the wrong oil was used. This past week, they sold my pre-ordered parts to another customer. Returning the next day, there was no record of the re-ordered parts! Sometimes bigger is definitely not better. I doubt that I will purchase another BMW there. It should be noted that I had bought 12 Bimmers there ovet the past 15 years!
