My Review of Spartanburg Dodge:
I have had two issues with this dealer. I bought a used 2007 Jeep SRT8 in Oct. 2007. When I bought the car the GM(general manager) offered a service plan for oil changes for the first year/12000 miles for $24.95. I also bought an extened service plan from them to cover things after the 3 year/36000 mile factory warranty was up. Was told if I had to bring the Jeep in for any repair I would get a loaner free. I had heard bad things about this dealer before. But they seemed to sound like they where doing better.
OK first issue: 9000 miles on the Jeep and had a motor mount failure. Took the tech for a ride, he was able to find it after a couple hours. Said they didn't have the part and didn't know when they would get it. This was on a Friday. So I asked about the loaner, sevice manager said he couldn't give me one because it was only an hour and a half fix. So I had to go to the new GM and ask about the loaner. Acted like I was lying about what I was told by the last GM. So after about an hour they finially gave me a loaner. I won't talk about the rental car place, that's another story. They kept my Jeep for a week. Was I supposed to go with out a car for a week?
Second Issue: remember the oil service agreement I mentioned earlier? The one I have in writting! Well had the first two oil changes done for the $24.95 as in the agreement. So I go to get the 3rd oil change on 7-18-08. Was charged $66.08. When I asked the new sevice manager why, he said because it was an SRT and used synthetic oil he couldn't do it for $24.95. Told him I had two already done for $24.95, didn't matter that was a mistake. When I told them I would get in touch with the Better Business Bureau, Chrysler, and the local news team they came back and said they would give me my next oil change for $49. Still not the $24.95 as per my contract. If I where you I would run from this dealership as fast as you can.
