My Review of Spirit Chrysler Dodge:
Salesman lied right to me. This was several years ago. I saw an ad
in a local paper for a used Geo Metro, priced at $5999. It was a
decent price for the vehicle, and I wanted a small car for the short
trip back and forth to work, so I went.

I took it for a test drive, then went home to think it over. A few days
later, I went back and it was gone. The same salesman told me it had
sold. So I went home and started my search again. Located the SAME
car at another Spirit dealership. It hadn't sold, just been transferred.
The people at the other dealership agreed to ship it back to the local
one for me when they did their normal transfer.

A week or so later, when they told me it would be back, I returned. It
was on a flatbed in the back. As I looked for a salesperson, the same
guy approached me, and said, "Are you still looking for that Metro? I
told you, it's sold. The lady who bought it picked it up just yesterday."
I said, "Really, because that looks like it on the truck out back."

He walked around back, admitted it was the car, then quoted me a
price of $7999. I told him the advertised price, and the price he'd
quoted me on my last visit was $5999. He said, "Not this car. No way
we were letting this one go for 6 grand."

I offered to go to the library and make a copy of the ad, but he said
it didn't matter what proof I brought in, this car was never $5999.

I left, and decided I would NEVER do business with this group of
unethical creeps again.
