My Review Of Spitzer Mitsubishi Sheffield:
Let me preface by saying that dealing with Spitzer was incredibly easy and professional.
After deciding to upgrade from my 2008 Civic Si to something with a little more power I began looking at dealerships close to home (KY) for a white Lancer Evolution.
Neither of the dealerships nearby had a white Evo. They both quoted a car in Ohio that met my criteria, white with the sight and sound option. Each dealer quoted the car about 50 dollars OVER the MSRP. Out of curiosity I searched for the dealer that had the car and found that the price on Spitzer's website was considerably lower that both quotes the other dealers had given me, given there were delivery fees, but Spitzer's price was so much lower I could afford to drive up and pick the car up myself.
One local dealership never gave me a price for my current car the other offered me a joke of a trade in price, about $4,500 UNDER the bluebook trade in value. I realize that dealers don't necessarily go by the KBB price, but $4,500 under is an insult.
This is were Spitzer comes into play. I called them asking about the Evo. Sam worked with me and stayed in constant contact. He knew I was out of state helped me get as much done over the phone as possible. After sending him pictures of my Civic, he offered me a very fair price for trade in, a much better price than the KY dealership offered. I eventually sold the car outright, but Spitzer's trade in quote was not bad.
We agreed on a price for the Evo, again, much lower than the local dealerships quoted, and I drove to Ohio to pick up the car.
When I got to the dealership all the paperwork was ready and in about 30 minutes I was sitting in the car. Sam thoroughly went over all the car's features and help me set up the bluetooth so I could use my phone with the radio. Sam was completely honest when showing me the car. He pointed out features he liked, but also didn't try to BS about the few odd things about the car.
Mike offered me an extended warranty and an interior / exterior scotchgaurd type package. I declined both, and he never tried to pressure or scare me into buying it. He even offered me some time research and think about it.
The experience with Spitzer couldn't have been better. Everyone there was helpful, professional, and there was ZERO pressure. Sam even followed up with me the next day to make sure I made it home OK and to make sure car suited me.
I couldn't be happier. I got the exact car I wanted at a great price with literally zero hassling. Good job guys!
