My Review of Stadium Mazda & Volkswagen:
I had a front wheel bearing replaced on my vehicle at Stadium, which has failed twice within the warranty period. (Parts were replaced under warranty, but failed again within the original warranty.)
Aside from the dealer being unable to repair my vehicle, I am most dissatisfied with my experiences at Stadium because of their so-called diagnostic charge rake-off. They charged me to diagnose the problem (even though I never requested any diagnosis), explaining that they had to thoroughly inspect the entire front-end to make sure there were no related problems. They recommended that I have them replace the hub to ensure that it was not damaged. I went along with that and complied with every recommendation. Then they were going to charge me – again – to confirm that the wheel bearing was bad and they had not overlooked any related problems before they would perform warranty service. (After taking every approach to demonstrate that this was not reasonable, the service manager rudely conceded that they would drop the charge only to prove that they would go to every extreme to satisfy every unreasonable customer.)
That’s really frustrating when you have no vehicle for over a week at a time while it is at Stadium.
This is an ongoing issue. The service original service and parts are still within the warranty miles/time, but the vehicle is not operable. I took the vehicle to two other garages, and they say that the problem is caused by the parts not being installed properly and recommend another dealer.
