My Review of Steve Smith Country:
I have purchased two used cars there and got a good and fair deal both times. They can be a little slow on paper work. I have found Bill Ledgerwood very honest and upfront. They have jumped through hoops on both truck/SUV's to get the financing I wanted. I have purchased a lot of automobiles in the last 30 years, but unless something changes drastically, Steve Smith will be the only dealer I use.

My Review of Steve Smith Country:
Every time I go in to ask about service for my jeep and then ask how much it is I just about puke. Pricing is way out of range.

My Review of Steve Smith Country:
My 1995 Cherokee wouldn't start. I brought it into the dealership, and they said they would call with an estimate.

They did not call until after the repair was done, and did the repair without permission. When I questioned the service dept., they replied that an estimate was not possible without making the repair itself.

I called Steve Smith because it said "Free Estimates" in the phonebook. I asked whether they could take the sensor out and give me back the car, and they said it would be a $75 "diagnostic fee".

The labor charge was > $100, despite the fact that it required less labor that the $75 "diagnostic fee" would have been(putting it in and then taking it out)! The service representative was rude, and I needed my car back, so I decided to pay rather than discuss this further at that time.

I later researched the job, and found that the $250 fee for this service was exorbitant, even for Jeep quality parts.
