My Review of Sunnyvale Volkswagen:
I was there to buy a new VW Jetta. The sales people tried to pull one of the cheapest and oldest sales trick in the book. After all the price negotiations, paperwork and finance documents were done and the deal was closed and SIGNED by BOTH parties, when I was about to leave, I was told in the parking lot that the car price that I just bought would be $1000 more than what was negotiated and the contract does not hold good anymore. All this happened after I had spent 4 hours working and negotiating the deal with all the sales people. The salesmen involved were Nick and James (its very funny and ironic that James claimed to be working at Sunnyvale VW for 7 years "building relationships" !!) and the finance person was Servan. This was the most disgusting and blatant display of unethical salesmanship I have ever seen. It felt like they were all part of a big scam trying to cheat the customers. In the end they admitted that somebody there made a mistake in pricing , but they were not ready to honour the price even AFTER all the documents were signed.
Dont waste your time and energy here, This is probably the worst VW dealership in the bay area.
