Poster child for dishonest dealerships
Ever see those news shows where they take hidden cameras into car dealerships and they try to rip the buyer off with a bunch of hidden fees? Welcome to Superior Hyundai.
I recently tried to purchase a used car from them and they tried to rip me off twice. Even after getting a “final” price in writing include tax and title, they attempted to tag an extra $200 on to my load for a loan origination fee. They lied to me and said they were only passing on a charge from the bank. After walking away and telling them I would get my own financing they agreed to waive the origination fee. Then they tried to tag an extra $250 documentation fee on to the price. Each time, for the loan papers and purchase agreement, they tried to get me to sign without reviewing the numbers.
The funny thing is, I was getting a really good price for the vehicle, if they had just giving me an honest “final” price up front, I would have paid for it. I walked because I despise someone trying to take advantage of me and treating my like I’m stupid.
