My Review of Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia:
After reading the negative reviews about this dealership on this site, I was very apprehensive about doing business with them. However, Vance Robinson worked with my husband in a bidding war with another local dealership to get the best price on a new 2009 Versa. After the other dealership said they could match Sutherlin's best offer, we tried to sign the papers and the other dealership (Stone Mountain Nissan) added $100 to the price. We walked away from that deal and drove 30 minutes from our house the next day to get the Sutherlin Nissan. Vance held the car we wanted with the colors I wanted and the options I requested. When I got to the dealership, Vance had the car outside waiting for us and the papers drawn up. My husband asked Vance to change the name on the contracts, so Vance gave us the keys to drive the car around while he got the new papers drawn up. I was still nervous, but the car was great! It was what I wanted. When we got back to the dealership, I signed the papers and did not pay one penny above what Vance quoted to me. The only problem we had is getting a check signed over for the car in order to pay for it, but Vance drove to the bank (several miles away) with us and sat in the lobby for about thirty minutes and chatted with me while we waited for the bank to sort it out. Buying the car was actually easier than going to the bank! I can't say enough good things about my experience. I would recommend Vance Robinson to anyone!Oh, and we got the car for about $2500 under the sticker price!

My Review of Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia:
I brought my vehicle in to Service Advisor Sherry to have a recall performed on my vehicle. They said they couldn't perform the recall (an ECM reprogram) because my car coded. Their repair costs are way too high so I took it to my mechanic and he fixed the oxygen sensor problem. I took the car back to them to have the recall performed. At the time I took it in, the engine was working perfectly. They told me that they couldn't perform the repair again because it coded again and that the car was skipping. I took the car back to my mechanic and it stalled on the way there! It was absolutely awful! They did something to my car to mess up the timing on the engine! On the paperwork, it said that I had the car repaired somewhere else. I had my mechanic spend about 8 hours to fix what they had done! My mechanic said there was no way to prove what they had done and he felt sorry for me and only charged me 4 hours labor. In addition, there was another recall on that car which I knew about but they wouldn't fix. I asked for an estimate on that. I had it repaired by my own mechanic who charges 1/2 of what they wanted. I will submit that directly to Nissan for reimbursement since they won't fix a recall that requires parts! In addition, there was a technical service bulletin on this car that no one told me about that I figured out for myself. Turns out no Nissan dealer will fix this problem if the car is out of warranty even thought they know it's a problem (very hard to start). I will never buy another Nissan! After this horrible experience, I searched the internet to see if anyone in my area had a good experience with a Nissan Dealer. I went to Regal Nissan and used Brian Jennings as my service advisor. I highly recommend them. See my review after searching for them. I will never go back to Southerlin Nissan!

My Review of Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia:
I have purchased over twenty cars and this was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I have had. I saw the used vehicle on the internet. I called and asked what extra fees the dealership has above and beyond the asking price of the vehicle. I was told there was a $499.00 administrative fee. The next day I drove 6 hours to look at the vehicle. I decided to purchase the vehicle and was than told there was also a $1500.00 internet fee as well. I proceded to walk out and they ended up reducing the fee too $500.00
The finance manager suggested that I purchase an extended warenty as there was no warenty with the car. I purchased an engine/drivetrain warenty for $1050.00 for two years. Within a couple of days I noticed oil drops in my garage. I had the vehicle inspected by a local dealer and found out the engine needed over $5000.00 worth of work. I called the warrenty people . They came out and inspected the car and agreed the car needed the work but would not cover the repair because it was pre-existing. I called the car dealership and asked for the used car manager, service manager, finance manager, general manager, and internet manager. NO ONE RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS. When I finally got through to them they said "sorry ,there is nothing we can do to help you "
Why would they sell me a warenty if it could not be used.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MOVE ON TO NEXT SUCKER

My Review of Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia:
Purchased a new 2008 Altima Coupe. Car was delivered after dark. We never recieved a walkthrough of vehicle. The next morning we discovered that the vehicle had been driven up onto a curb and had numerous scrapes and gouges on front lower spoiler. We called dealership to get problem resolved and staff very rude and uncooperative. Went to dealership to show them damage and recieved the shrug off and same poor custumer relations. It was not until we called Nissan corporation and threatened to report to locla consumer advocate at a TV station the the dealer reluctantly agreed to repair vehicle rather than "touch" up the spots. They finally pulled a bumper off a similar vehicle and placed on our vehicle. Almost entire staff was rude, and demonstrated poor customer relations. This is our 9th nissan and we will never set foot on this dealership again. Pre-sales checks had not been done. Fluid resevoirs were empty, mechanic checklist had been blown off, sensors had not been calibrated on TPMS. AVOID doing buisness with these guys. On more thing. They jack up price about $1200 by adding a "paint protective package" and a set of whell locks that cost about $30.00 retail. The paint thing is done at factory and the dealer does squat. Lies and deception here. Buy your vehicle elsewhere if your smart.

My Review of Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia:
This dealership misrepresented an automobile on ebay. The item number was 2485331858 and their member name was Autorideamerica. If you check the vin in the pictures with that in the advertisement (as I should have done), you see that they do not match. After winning the bid, financing the car, and flying from Ohio to Georgia, I discovered that the pictures in the advertisement were not of the car that I had bought. The salesmen claimed it was an honest mistake. Two days after I flew home, I found that they had relisted the car with the same erroneous pictures under the name of sutherlinnissanmallofgeorgia. The item number was 2486746697. I brought this to their attention and they did not change the advertisement. I cannot imagine that this misrepresentation was a mistake.

Caveat emptor!
