My Review of The Auto Buying Service:
My wife was 9 months pregnant with baby #2. We needed to upgrade to an SUV quickly, but had been searching for weeks.

We asked The Auto Buying Service to find us the best SUV for our budget. They walked us through our options, provided a concrete price estimate and started emailing profiles the next day. Within a week, we’d found several SUVs we liked. They then worked with us to build a bidding strategy keeping us informed as they negotiated with dealers and wholesalers.


They purchased, reconditioned and delivered our 2005 Acura MDX Touring within two weeks. Further, they provided complete transparency on all the costs incurred. The final price was fully $3,000 below what our local dealer was asking for MDXs with more miles, fewer options and bad colors.



They delivered the MDX to our home. Four days later a new navigation disk arrived. Three days after that the 2009 registration and tags arrived. We’re absolutely thrilled with the quality both of the MDX we bought and of the service we received.

Dealing with Michael was such a pleasure.
I wanted to sell my 2001 Audi A8 through two different dealers (acting as consignors). Six months later, I had no results, not even an inquiry.

The Auto Buying Service worked w/ me to photo, describe and market my A8. I had an inquiry within a few days, an offer within a week and a sale within two weeks. Michael was very realistic when it came to pricing my vehicle, something that the dealers where not

Basically, The Auto Buying Service got me results when other dealers couldn’t.

My Review of The Auto Buying Service:
I was lucky enough to meet Michael Downs when I called on an ad in Autotrader.com. Michael answered all my questions so well, I was able to agree to see the car within the hour for a test drive. Seeing the car at my home, driving the streets I am familiar with and having Michael with me to answer questions made this the best car buying experience for me in 41 years. We discussed all details of purchasing the car, made our final agreements via email, making our communication quick, accurate and easy. The car was delivered to me in perfect condition, we relaxed in my dining room and completed all paperwork. I felt completely confident with Michael, the car, the price and referring family and friends to Michael. Having the registration taken care of by Michael and final details delivered to me makes this transaction the ultimate luxury in buying a car. I could not be happier or more satisfied with my new car and the efforts of Michael Downs.
