Reason for Visit: Sales (New)
I recommend this dealer: Yes
My Review of The Faricy Boys Chrysler Jeep:
I started at the Jeep web site requesting quotes and info. Mindy called and then emailed several times as we went back and forth over models and prices, then called after I visited the dealership to follow up. She replied quickly and accurately with real information, unlike the three other dealers I tried. Their responses ranged from nothing to a phone call (despite my email preference) to very limited and flat-out wrong information (e.g., wrong model, no quote, etc.) Faricy had by far the best Internet/email experience, with model info and price quote.
At the dealer, Richard was filling in for the "regular" Internet sales guy and did an outstanding job. Unlike other dealers, after identifying the models I was interesting in, they brought them to the front door rather than us wandering the lot. Richard had us sit in each and walk around them as he ran through all the features and showed us everything from tailpipe to headlights. He then took us through the Jeep off-road test course on site; that alone was worth the trip! Finally, Richard had us meet Ryan (manager?) who covered a few more technical details I had asked about, then went over our financing options and answered a few other questions. It was a very pleasant, low-key sales visit.
The finance guy we met with later went over all the financial options and extended warranty options (a fairly extensive list). We were able to trade off various levels of "extra" warranty options without pressure and with reasonable descriptions of all the different plans. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered a number of different coverages that could be "unbundled" to get a custom plan for exactly what we wanted. He was also upfront about the cost/benefit of the different packages, i.e. what road hazard included vs. what normal tire dealers provided, and helped explore if it was really worth it to me.
All in all, I found that The Faricy Boys lived up to the hype and adverts and then some. I do suggest starting via the Internet to save some time and get a solid quote -- something I found difficult to impossible at other dealers. Solid 5's for the sales experience!
