"Great service as always."

I meet a new service rep (writer) Gabriele Angeles today who is tops. She is very professional but made you feel at home and very informative. Along with the rest of the Service writers. Including Armando, and Amanda they have a great staff. The new Service Manager Harry has a professional staff and manages the whole dept. very well. I have been coming there for since they opened and enjoy each and every visit. Please offer my highest accolades to the entire service department staff. With extra regards to Gabriela and Amanda. Todays experience was another great example of why I WOULD NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE. A personal thanks to Gabriela for another enjoyable visit. Also, a personal thanks to Amanda for taking the time to call me and answer my concerns. Please include the maintenance man Mikey in this salutation. He works very hard and is genuinley concerned about his duties.

"Bad service and no one cares"

I bought my car from them. They told me at the last minute they would only have one key for me, even though they are a Nissan dealership selling me a Nissan. That's just plain cheap and bad customer service. So a little over a year later I purchased an OEM remote and key blank. I went in to inquire about a couple things for my car of which programming the key was one. I was told it would take 30 minutes or less and would cost $65. No appointment needed because it was a short process. I go in to have it programmed and they tell me it could be up to an hour. They were backed up. I was annoyed but I understood. I am in customer service too and I know how it is. So I waited over an hour and a half. During that time, another person who had an appointment for recall work woke up from napping and saw the time. He had been there over two and a half hours. He inquired. His car hadn't been touched. Was told only one tech could do the recall work. He had an appointment mind you. So he left very annoyed without his work being done. I left at two hours. My car hadn't been touched either. I have called and left messages for the Service Manager. No calls back. I emailed a complaint to their website. Nothing. They clearly do not care at all about their customers in any meaningful way. I will never do business with them again. AND,,,I found a local locksmith to program my key. Took less than five minutes and it was cheaper than the dealer. Works great. No reason I will ever go back to Thomas Nissan and I will not even consider Thomas Toyota (soon to be Toyota of Romeoville). Don't care about customers...no problem. Lots of dealers to choose from.

Matt Richards and his manager Ben were very helpful when I came to them seeking advice. Matt has even gone above and beyond helping me when I've been out of state. I recommend him to my friends when they are looking to make a new or used car purchase.

"Beware"

I called to schedule an oil change. I was quoted a price of $19.95. When the service was completed my bill was $42.42. Why? Apparently the labor is a separate fee. It seems deceptive to add "labor" onto a quote. Isn't if fair to assume that the cost of an oil change would include someone to actually change the oil? This is not our first failed experience with this dealer but it will be our last.

"service dept. dangerous to you and your vehicle"

after service dept. failed to put lug nuts on wheel after rotation, wheel came off while driving causing extensive damage to my like new 2015 frontier.fotunately I was not killed. Thomas offers no compensation other than to patch up my truck and give it back. I am a retired senior who is not happy getting a patched up truck with a history of damage repair. Thomas has had my truck for 12 days so far with no word as to when repairs will be done. Repeated calls to general manager Mike Gors cell phone go to voice mail, and my calls where never returned. my wife and I are very distraught and feel as though we are at the mercy of Thomas nissan. save yourself a lot of grief and go somewhere else.

"Professional Courteous Relaxed experience at Thomas Nissan "

I was quite please at my recent trip to Thomas Nissan of Joliet. I had brought my 2012 Nissan Sentra in for a repair and left it and took a 2015 Nissan Sentra as a loaner. I loved the new style of the 2015 Sentra. I had requested that my vehicle be appraised while I was gone. When I returned not only was my vehicle appraised and repaired but Sal Luca and Chris Barrera wrote me up a proposal that not only got me out of my 2012 but into a new 2015 at a monthly payment a few dollars less than what I was paying currently. I rode out the door with a new car and a smile on my face. My wife is in the market for a Rogue and they indicated that she could test drive it for a few days to make sure she likes it and we can maybe work out another deal. All in all I was quite pleased with the no hassle buying experience and the professionalism of both Sal and Chirs. Thanks again Thomas Nissan of Joliet. I will continue to service and purchase my vehicles from your dealership.

"Dont go for your Car Maintenance here!!!!!"

I had scheduled a Oil Change with them on 07/11 using their website and unfortunately I was late by 15 mins. The guy at the service desk was the most unpleasant guy you would ever want to have. I waited there for at least 15-20 mins for him to kind of ask me for what I was there for and this Lord never bothered to ask. Then I asked him if there was someone to help me out to which he responded he will will be there in a second and his second came after another 15 mins..God is this what you call Customer Service. Upon checking his system he bluntly lied he has no appointment for me , wherein I showed him the mail response I had received from Thomas Nissan confirming my appointment. He very rudely told me I am late and I can't take you. Hello you are a Nissan Dealer and you offer Express Service and needs no Appointment. I told him I drove 30 miles to come to you and I just need Oil Service, he rudely said..see I told you 3 times don't you get it. Wow you need some lessons dude in Customer Service!! Guys at Thomas Nissan..do you think I will ever come again to have my vehicle serviced. Sad but true..Service guy needs some good lessons in Customer Service from your Sales who are your gems. Also if you cannot offer Express Service don't even list it as your service.
