UPDATE...(Any previous issues have been resolved due to great customer service and the previous review has been deleted.)

This Dealer has contacted me numerous times to set things right. I really believe that they are sincere and I really felt I had to change my review. The way Jeff and Tim kept reaching out to me was awesome and I honestly believe they are sincere. This Dealer has turned my negative experience into a very positive one. I have to admit that sometimes first impressions are not always correct. I would definitely buy a car from this dealer!

Great new truck buying experience. Barbara was very helpful showing us the trucks that would work for our needs. She introduced us to the service advisors and made sure the vehicle fuel tank was full prior to delivery.

I have been buying cars from Thompsons for nearly 30 years, starting at the old location on Broadway in Placerville.During that time I have purchased close to ten cars and trucks.Thompsons is a very easy going dealership, with absolutly no high pressure sales tactics.They offer the best prices on there cars right out of the gate. They have also always given me top dollar on my trade-ins.My most recent purchase was a 2012 Acadia Denali, on March 13,2012. I found the vehicle I was looking for contacted the dealership, and because of the distance I was able to complete 95% of the purchace on line and fax. How cool is that?Everyone was friendly and courtious. the vehicle was already for delivery but the salesman had it washed again while paperwork was completed.I would call upon the dealership again for my next purchase with no hesitation!!!

I had a very pleasant experience at this dealer. Barbara was suprisingly knowledgeable regarding the GMC truck line. There was no pressure to make a purchase. My Review of Thompsons Buick GMC:
My husband and I were in the market for a used car. We found that Thompson's website was easy to use and their prices on used cars could not be beat (we looked!). Placerville is a little bit of a drive for us, so we contacted Jack before going up to make sure the car we were interested in was still available. When we arrived, Jack had the car waiting for us to test drive. He was helpful and informative, but not pushy at all. Even the paperwork, which is always a bit time consuming, was easy to fill out with Jack's guidance. We love our new-to-us car! This was one of the easiest car-buying experiences I've ever had!

We drove to Thompsons this morning fully expecting to find the Suburban we wanted. After a couple of quick, polite, and effective telephone conservations I knew they would be able to get us into what we were looking for. The entire staff was friendly helpful and respectful. I think I got a great deal on the car we wanted. This is the second Suburban we have purchased from Thompsons and I anticipate a few years from now buying our next one from them as well.

I have always used a car broker for all of my prior pre-owned and new vehicles. I was relauctant and nervous to deal with a "sales person". My experience could not have been better.
