My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
I visited Tom Woods Audi Dealership today in Indianapolis and I was COMPLETELY and UTTERLY disappointed in the service and treatment I received from the sales representative. For a manufacturer of such a high end product I was also expecting a similar high end customer service but alas that did not happen and left a very sour test for overall Audi image.
I wanted to test drive 2008 A4 and/or A3 to get a feel of the cars and measure which one would fit for my driving needs. When I mentioned this to the sales representative and he replied to me saying that I need to specifically first decide on which model and which year I want to purchase THEN AND THEN ONLY I will be able to test drive that vehicle. I tried to push him a little bit to at least let me test drive A3 which he had right in front of us, he replied to me saying that, that was the only car they had and someone was buying it so can not test drive it. After that I tried to push him a little more with 2008 A4, he replied that I need to make a commitment of buying one and THEN AND THEN ONLY I can test drive. In the conversation he also mentioned that if I did not have any specific model and year in mind and did not have commitment to buy it, IT WILL BE WASTE OF HIS TIME!!! Utterly disgusted with the treatment I left without any test drive experience.
If this is the kind of service and customer treatment (and if this is the image Audi is trying to project of making customers feel stupid about expecting a simple thing from car dealership of test driving a vehicle before a purchase) I will be getting after I purchase Audi Vehicle, I am better off without buying one. This is the kind of experience that completely shattered the image I had about Audi being a high end and customer focused service car manufacturer. I believe Tom Woods Audi dealership and in turn Audi America has lost a customer and several that would have followed with my recommendation.

My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
I just returned from having my Volvo serviced -- oil change, tire rotation, light bulb replaced.
After I dropped the vehicle off I received a call saying that they could not remove the left front wheel and if they continued that they would "break it". I told them that I did not want them to break it so don't rotate the tires. When I arrived to pick up my car, I found that I had been charged for their attempt to rotate my tires. I asked for the service manager and told him that they were the last ones to service my vehicle (which he informed me was 15,000 miles ago on the tire rotation)and basically acted as though there was no way that they could have tightened them too much when they did the work. I asked if it was normal for "corrosion" to occur (as he suggested) on Volvos and he said no. He did remove the charge for their "attempt". As I was leaving, I looked at the bill more closely and noticed that it said that they could not get three of the wheels off. When I asked Matt about that comment and told him again that they were the last ones to rotate the tires, under his breath he said "we don't know where that car has been since they serviced it" -- in other words, they we're telling me that I was lying.
My car has 60,000 miles on it, was Volvo certified up to the 50,000 mark, and has been garaged and cared for.
I won't ask these guys to do service work again - I'll find someone willing to take responsibility for their work and who will help me fix this without breaking it first.

By the way, prior to this visit I had always been treated wonderfully and I told people about how great Volvo service was. I'm pretty disappointed.

My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
While having my Rover serviced the dealership orders my part and forgets to order fastening parts. They send me a post card stating to make an appointment for repair or they will send back the parts. I've already waited the 2-3wk period to get the service and on top of that was pushed back because the had to re-order the right parts. Can you say Fed-Ex? While waiting my Rover was robbed of its radio and nothing was done by Tom Wood to help me. I'm still looking for the proper channels to complain. BBB is last on my list.

My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
The service department is horrendous. I specifically told them what the problem with the car was, but chose not to listen to me. I had two problems, front left speaker was blown, and the right rear wheel bearing was shot. Specifically told them that, and they simply turned the car back over to me the next day saying "There's nothing wrong". It took three attempts and two drives in the car with the service guy to prove that there was a problem with the both the speaker and bearing. Horrendous service. I love Audi's and will always own one, but it is worth the drive to go south to Cincy or north to any other dealership besides TOM WOOD.

My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
I have had more problems with service on my S-type than I thought possible. Between waiting over three weeks to get an appointment and then having the car sit in the parking lot for two days before it ever hits the lift and having the car in for brake rotor problems three times in two years I am fed up. How can a dealership that has five of the top makes of cars do such a poor job and keep the dealerships? Unfortunately my choices of luxury cars in Indy is limited to those not sold by these clowns.

My Review of Tom Wood Audi:
I bought a Volvo S60 from this dealer last summer. The sales person was great to work with, as was the financing person. The service staff doesn't seem very interested in you and makes you feel rushed.

I had my first service appointment and told them I didn't need a loaner, that my office is only 5 mins from their lot and that if someone could give me a ride to work, I could catcha ride back at the end of the day. I wound up waiting almost an hour for their shuttle bus to take me 5 minutes away. When I picked my car up, it had not been vaccumed out, the windows hadn't been cleaned.........I paid $100+ for an oil change and they can't vacuum the car out?!?! I can go to Jiffy Lube and pay $29.99 and get the car cleaned out as part of the package. I asked the guy who brought my car around why it hadn't been cleaned. He went inside to ask and then told me if I would wait, they'd clean it. I asked him how long I'd have to wait, he said they were busy and it would probably be 1/2 an hour.

Not really the type of service I'd expect from a luxury car dealer.
