My Review of Toyota of Santa Barbara:
Just had a bad experience with Toyota of Santa Barbara. I tried to buy some parts ( O-rings , nothing fancy ) from them and was quoted a price that was more than 100 percent markup over their cost! I don't mind paying a fair price for something but paying that much just because the dealership is greedy? No way!!!!! The guy on the phone acknowledged the markup. My advice is to buy your parts elsewhere so as not to get taken to the cleaners. They must think their customers are stupid. I for one am tired of getting gouged by businesses here in Santa Barbara. Business owners think that just because we live here, we can afford to pay more - a lot more than the average consumer. Well, Toyota of Santa Barbara, think again. You are the reason we citizens of this beautiful city drive the extra distance to other locations to purchase just about everything elsewhere.

I liked that there wasn't any pressure to buy. Chris was great to deal with. He matched another dealer's price and then continued to give consistent and honest service. I would definately buy from him again. The experience was quick and painless.

Thank you Toyota of Santa Barbara! Salesman Chris Thomas, who is also the internet manager, and the rest of the staff treated us very well during the purchase of our new car. They were respectful, patient, and straightforward. At first we attempted to work with our hometown dealer, however one of the comments made on Dealerrater proved to be very true. After returning home disappointed from our hometown dealer, we decided to call Toyota of Santa Barbara due to information we had found on their excellent website. The deal we made on the phone was substantially better than the other dealer, and the treatment we received resulted in a very pleasant experience. I recommend Chris Thomas and Toyota of Santa Barbara without reservation!

I preferred Toyota of Santa Barbara because the sales staff doesn't creep me out like other dealers and no pressure, held off on throwing obnoxious "sign here, here here..." forms in my face , cool people. Sid provided excellent service, patience, spent a lot of time working with me on the purchase, follow up service, he's a cool dude. I like my car, she rocks. I just need to give her a name now... hmmmm, maybe Madam Speed.

This was a first class car-buying experience. Everyone I dealt with from Chris Thomas all the way through Hai Lee were helfpul, reasonable, low-pressure, and fair. It was a lot different experience than I would expect from a dealership. And I have to say I especially enjoyed Hai Lee's extra attention. He made you feel valued and appreciated.

The Service provided by Toyota when buying a new car is great, even after I bought the car, courtesy calls fallowed to check up on how everything was going. Sid Baily from Toyota of Santa Barbara helped me out in the selection and purchase process providing excellent service and customer service. I would definitely return to Toyota of SB for my next car purchase.
