My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I picked Toyota of Watertown because it had a couple of different vehicles I was interested in that I had found on Cars.com. I walked in and was directed to a young salesman named Jason. He was friendly throughout the entire process, but never seemed terribly interested in selling me a car, a used car at that.

There was a Corolla S that I was really interested in, but it was in the shop and wouldn't be ready for several days and I was in a rush. So directed me towards a 2006 Corolla LE with low miles and a moderate price, which I was able to talk down about $1000. He didn't every really put pressure on me, but he didn't really offer me any options and every time I asked a question he couldn't answer, he would tell me he'd find out and would disappear for 10-15 mins. But I would see him just shootin the breeze with his coworkers in the other room and then eventually make his way back to me.

I decided to commit to the car by putting down the deposit and told them I would come back the next day with the final decision because I wanted to do some additional research to be sure I was getting a good deal.

I informed Jason that I would be back the next day midmorning and he said he would be there starting at 9. I get there about 10:30 and he hasn't even gotten in for the day. His boss calls him and practically wakes him and tells him to come in to help me. After waiting for 30 mins for him to drive to work.

He eventually came in reluctantly and we slowly worked through the paperwork and the delivery of the car out of state where I live, which he tells me he will do the following day.

So I leave, several hours later he calls me to tell me that I need to drive back to the dealership to sign the TItle of all things. A 25 min drive mind you.

Then the day he is suppose to deliver the car, he calls to tell me it cant happen and will have to be the following monday.

Overall a friendly guy, but had me do so much extra leg work because he simply didn't seem to care.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
My friend recently purchased a car from this dealership. I was with her every step of the way so I was able to observe every aspect. I would 100% use this dealer to purchase a new car myself in the future. Toyoto of Watertown gave us our best experience in dealing with several dealerships in the are.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
After having three hours of our time wasted a this dealer, I feel it my duty to warm others. Wife and I were serious about getting a new Toyota RAV4, all cash deal. Walked in and got service right away, took us through every detail, every option, etc. Test drive went well, so now we are on to getting a price.

At this point, everything went into slow motion - it took us TWO HOURS to get a price out of them. Mostly this was because they asked dozen of questions of about what was important for us in the car - I think they just wanted to find out how high they could start. We had a trade in to which was appraised there; were warned though that 'the market was soft for manual transmissions'. Sure, sure.

Finally, I think the guy just made up the numbers; the worst part was the MSRP was literally $3500 over the published MSRP for the vehicle! We would have had to start at about $8000 under the price they offered to get a fair deal - this is on 21K car! Waste of time, never go there.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I knew which car I wanted and I had my own financing set up, but they strung me along for hours and kept pushing their own financing and protection-racket extended warranty crap.

They were not flexible at all on price and offered nothing (literally nothing) for my trade in.

I still bought the car because I wanted that car. the day before I picked it up, the salesman said it was "all set."

When I arrived to pick the car up, it was "almost ready." It continued to be "almost ready" for three hours and forty five minutes. the salesman kissed my butt and made excuses all day but got nothing done.

I finally took the car away before they were done cleaning it.

When I complained to the manager about the poor service, he blew me off.

DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU LIKE GO TO TOYOTA OF WATERTOWN.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I was shopping for a 2008 Toyota Camry for my son. I went online to vehix.com and my information was sent to 5 dealerships to respond to me. I received a generic preprinted pricing form with the same price from each. Mike was the only one who replied personally and came in with a lower price. I badgered him with questions thru email and he answered each one right away. He was so easy to deal with and I really felt he was being "honest".

When I went in to sign the papers, it was the easiest, fastest purchase I have ever made. I was not rushed and everything was explained until I felt comfortable and understood all the papers.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and/or this dealership to family and friends.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I was looking for a Prius with a very specific package and color combination. Mike was able to give me a very nice quote, however, they did not have the car in stock and did not know when it would be in stock.

While the price was the best out of everyone I dealt with, some red flags were raised when I looked up their BBB rating, which was unsatisfactory (6 complaints over the past 3 years), and their rating on this site (1.5 at the time of search).

The best places I found were Acton and Lexington Toyota.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I was very surprised by the lack of service I received. I asked to test drive the RAV4. I was already a little nervous about driving a car that was much bigger than I'm used to. The salesman drove the car through the service garage and put it halfway into the showroom. I had to back the car out of the service garage, through a minefield of cars, and then turn it around to get out of the parking lot. Nobody came with me on the test drive so I had no idea where I was going. When I got back I couldn't find anyone to give the keys too, and when I asked for an info packet on the car, it took them 20 minutes to get it for me. They certainly weren't busy because most of the salesmen were standing around at the front. It may be because I was young and female, but I felt like they didn't want to sell me a car. I would never buy a car here much less go back to look.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
Don't walk, RUN from this dealer! They were running out to get the car for me to test drive before I even got ONE question out?? Why on earth would I test drive a car that's not what I want? Are these dealers for real? I just walked out after they seemed annoyed that I had questions about the kind of CAR I WANTED TO PURCHASE. (lol)

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
I went in to look at a Prius. I was told "there are none and none in the entire Boston area." However, they could "arrange" for me to test drive a Prius for a day for 250 dollars! Yes, I am not kidding, the salesman, who was rude, condescending, and sneering, actually said that. It may not have helped that I went in wearing shorts and a T shirt, but guess what, if they treat a potential customer this way (I am a physician at one of the Boston area hospitals) guess how shabbily they'll treat you AFTER you buy! Anyway, I found several Prius cars at other local dealers that afternoon, who treated me nicely. (Including Acton Toyota, try them and stay away from Toyota of Watertown.) And I told my friend who bought his cars at Watertown, and now he won't.

My Review of Toyota of Watertown:
(They SEEMED friendly, all spring & summer, but now I know it's FAKE friendly, so that's why I put "1" above.)

Summary: They were not truthful with me & strung me along. They wasted 5 months of my time. I put $1000 down on May 4, 2006, with a 4-6-week delivery promise (that's what he said-- on my contract/receipt he wrote ASAP). I ORDERED a specific car & it seems to me they never placed the order. My salesman was a liar. I've called him often in these 5 months. He made up crap like, my car has been made, it's over in Japan, and they need to wait until they sell 5 more Prius (not just any Toyota-- needs to be 5 more Prius) in order to ship them over. (Then why couldn't he give me the vin number? He said he did not have it yet.) He said "definitely" & "of course" when I asked him about delivery dates, since I was watching the Sept. 30 tax credit deadline. He thanked me for my patience, he said he was sorry, he said if it was up to him, I'd have my car by now. He strung me along, week by week, all summer. "We're getting the next allocation next week. Yours will be in that one, I'm sure. I'll call you next week." He did not call me when he said he would. That's just rude. In early August, I asked, "Are you going to call me, whether you know anything new or not?" Yes. Okay, I'll keep my phone on. He did not call. I called him & told him he should not say he was definitely going to call if he did not intend to. So, then, in early September, he said, "I'll definitely call you on Friday to let you know what I find out." I confirmed, "So you are really going to call me?" He loves that word "definitely." He did not call. Just last week, when I asked him why he did not just tell me it might be a long wait, instead of telling me every time, "Could be tomorrow." The manager, Alex, (described accurately as militaristic with no smile by someone else in this thread), in the background said, in that condescending tone men love to use on women, "Well if she did not want Silver Pine Mica package 4, she would have had her car by now." Criticizing me for my choice is just great. I asked directly, (I was direct in every conversation & they were vague in every conversation), "Did you even place the order for my car?" And they reiterated that the car is hard to get. I got my $1000 back yesterday (well, they said a credit to my visa would take 72 hours) & I wasted my time being on their waiting list.
