My Review of Triboro Motors:
Snotty, dishonest service manager. Lied to me by claiming that my E22 recall/catalytic converter did not require replacement, only reprogramming of the PCM, that the rattling I've heard for 2+ years was from my entire exhaust system (everything but the converter). My exhaust system is tight. Claimed he inspected the catalytic converter... If he ran an emissions test it would have revealed the inefficient, faulty, catalytic converter. An independant service technition suggested replacing the catalytic converter over a year ago (because of rattling). Now, 2 weeks later (after the PCM reprogramming) I get a MIL light P0420 code that translates to be a deteriorated catalytic converter.
I will never return to Triboro for service after the way I was treated. I find it difficult to trust dealerships in general because of this type of decietment. I will take my JEEP and ISUZU elsewhere, and steer everyone I know away from Triboro.
