My Review of Tustin Mazda:
I recently went through the rigamarole of the cash for clunkers program, and I wound up buying a Mazda 3 for two reasons. Foremost, Shaun McCray at Tustin Mazda was a good salesperson and represented Mazda well. He sold me on the car. Second, the salespeople at the other dealerships I looked at were less impressive. When one guy was driving me off the lot for a test drive, and he was all hunched over the wheel and squinting, I thought "You look like you should be driving this car, not me."
A Toyota salesman actively tried not to sell me cars. "You don't want to see the Scion, because the Scion is what the Scion is. I'm not going to discount it, so you don't want to see it." No kidding!
Shaun McCray at Tustin Mazda didn't break out any magic tricks or get the car up on two wheels or anything. He was a nice dude who showed me the car I wanted to see, and explained why he thought it was the best car for me. It isn't rocket science, but you'd never know that from visiting some of the other dealers in the Tustin Auto Mall.
