My Review of Venice Nissan Dodge:
BAIT & SWITCH!!!!
Venice Dodge advertised "Vans for $9,995". I went there on Sat, 12/27 and spoke to Jon McArdle, a salesman. He said they were all gone but had another one coming in on Sunday from Bradenton. I went there on Sunday and he said they had sent 2 guys up to Bradenton to get it but the gate was locked and they couldn;t get to it but that, for sure it would be here on Monday. He said it was a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country, tan colored, a reeal nice van that was a fleet vehicle. I asked him again..."and it's $9,995?" He confirmed that price. He even took all the info down on my trade in, took my cell phone number and said he'd call when it came in.

I called him on Monday morning and he said it was here and being cleaned up and I could come down anytime. My wife and I drove over. He showed us the van, pointed out the various features, got us a plate so we could take it for a test drive and CONFIRMED that it was $9,995.

After we test drove it (about 1 hour), we brought it back and he asked "So, what did you think?" We liked it. My wife had a few questions which he answered to our satisfaction. He then dropped "the bomb"..."I have a confession to make. I got you here under false pretenses. That van is not $9,995. It's $12,995." We walked out....VERY disappointed but, convinced we will NEVER buy from Venice Dodge.

The old adage confirmed: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

ALL about games and pressure. Made deal on truck late sunday, wife at work, told them had to talk to her before purchase. Told if I left deal might not be there next day(no pressure?)Left, Called next day they said someone else looked at truck, didn't buy, then said lost buyer for my trade and price would be $1000 more than deal I had made(no Games?)Called sales manager got in shouting match, very unprofessional, would not recommend this dealership. My Review of Venice Nissan Dodge:
When I went to purchase my vehicle in March 2008 I was treated very well. It was after the sale that things changed. I had some minor problems with my car. I had called for 4 days in a row leaving messages for my salesmen to contact me. No response, nothing at all. Pre sale was a different story. You'll get the service during the sale, but I wouldn't count on any after the sale.
The Dealership is good out of the gate, but Zip for Post Sale problems, your on your own :(

My Review of Venice Nissan Dodge:
I went to this dealership after seeing an ad for a car that I was interested in. I went and test drove the car, it was used, and I noticed a few things wrong with it. They said they would fix the car and let me know when it was ready, it was a huge hassle to get in touch with the salesmen, once he had my deposit he was too busy to talk to me. I asked if the car had ever been in an accident, I was assured that it had not and it had been inspected by the mechanic there and was in great condition with no problems.

Two days after I had been driving the car I noticed that it was leaking water out of the carpet on the drivers side, it turned out to be a huge problem costing me over 800.00 and then my mechanic told me that the car had definetely been wrecked and the frame was bent. On top of all this the dealership didn't mail me my tag on time. I definetely would not reccomend them as a place to purchase a car.
